Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review

BT-023, fecking horrible. The grip is actually OK or it had been until I went out on Saturday in the hot weather, but I hate the profile.

Just noticed I'd quoted the wrong person above, meant to quote Kwacky not Blade.

Anyway back to the ZX before Kwacky starts moaning!

Snap, these are going in the bin as soon as I can find someone local that can fit and balance tyres.

Re: Black visors

I've never been pulled for it but about 4 years ago I was pulled for something else and the copper made me swap my visors over. He claimed that it wasn't CE marked and nothing to do with it being dark. I didn't protest as he was a bit of a dick and I didn't want to risk him doing me for my illegal p...

Re: Front end knock

Took it in to DK (Stoke) today and they checked the headstock bearing, nothing wrong with it. Still got the knock so thinking it might just be the shim stacks in the forks. Will get MCT to look at it when I get around to upgrading the suspension. Really glad I took it in though, the mech took it out...

Re: Elections

Interesting to see Sadiq Khan got elected as Mayor for London. Rossgo - thats a fair summing up of how a lot people see things right now, disillusionment with politics is at an all time high I think, and if a person or party found a way to appeal to both old and young and rich and poor they'd be on...

Re: Breakdown Cover

Swap your bank account over to the nationwide. 10 quid a month and you get a 500 quid overdraft, UK/EU breakdown/recovery, travel insurance and phone insurance. Used it a few time now and they've been great and even cover you as a passenger in someone else's car.
