I would see it as marketing blurb personally. Ducati always update bikes incrementally, from year to year. For example the 996R had a 998cc engine before a 998 bike existed. Its common for features that appear on the S model to be on the base model the next year etc... ...

Oh and what is it about if you stay with the same insurance company for a second year running and they increase their premium instead of reduce it? That makes no sense surely it should go down if you stay with them for a second year. ...

2012 Gixxer, yoshi can, 4k miles, new Metz, sounds like mine, shiiiiit it is mine, ASV levers, R&G tail tidy, R&G rad guard, Datatag, smells of Autoglym sir Kwacky of South Brum. Gonna keep it this year but if you haven't bought one by next April give me or my agent, Spudda, a shout :D

... I get back to france and also the street triple if I get time. I'm in no rush really as I'd like to have a new one sorted for the start of next year as this year has shaped up to be a busy one. I'm still open minded.

... They have never been the same since getting noise complaints stopping them from doing full power low level runs over the run way! Used to go every year to one of them being with air cadets was great fun, the speed was mind boggling!

Is not on that they have given themselves a 10% pay rise and in the same week given public sector works a 4 year pay freeze. How out of touch with normal people is that.
