Re: What do you want to vent about today?
I got to my desk for start of shift, and my computer insisted I did a restart for some automatic updates. Restarted and my Outlook wouldn't run, which is a bit of an issue as most of my tasking is sent through email. So rang our IT support. They remotely applied a "repair" to my Office pro...

It doesn't matter how many protection devices and warnings we put in place, the truly stupid will always find a way to injure or kill themselves. I was actually quite surprised when I moved to Aussie that they allow 240V outlet in the bathrooms. In NZ you can only have an approved shaver power outlet.

This was on the local Kawasaki Forum, they obviously don't have the same NSFW policy we do! Hence I screen captured it rather than quoted it

£750 increase in council tax and as we will live on a private road we even have to pay for our own street lighting. How does that make sense. That's a big jump! That's about what I pay a year in rates (council tax) but we have no street lighting at all, no water or sewage (on rain tanks and Biocycl...

Congrats Rossgo, I know how you feel with the interview process, this job took a 1.5 hr phone interview, 5 hrs of aptitude testing, a 4 hr medical, and a 4 person panel interview over an hour on the other side of the country!! You find moving to a bigger company a lot of the stuff you didn't like ab...

Had a buffet lunch today. It looked great and even had cookies but I was too nervous to eat so I only had a triangle of a sandwich and an orange juice! Why are you nervous Rossgo? You're not going to propose are you? :? I'll make a new thread soon. I still need to catch up with all of last week's f...

LOL it's for me duffus, it was dropped off at a neighbour's house while I was out for lunch. Jeeze do I need to explain everything (lol) So in essence you're venting that the right parcel arrived at the correct location, and somehow that makes ME a "duffus"?? OK. Are you on fecking drugs ...

Watching my boss have a melt down. He's one of those who has to have everything done in a certain way (his way) and although he pretends to listen to other views, he's already planning how to get the job done the way he likes, regardless of whether its cost effective or right. There are 3 of us inv...

Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review
You won't die by running lower pressures so give it a go anyway, just check the temperature of the tyre with your hand when you pull up (for the road I personally like to ensure my front tyre is hot and my rear tyre is warm) I have been running it lower than the 36/36 recommendation, solo usually s...

Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review
I used to run 33/36 on the road so pretty much the same, worked lovely for me. On a very hot/fast day I'd drop the rear down a bit more ;) I was asking Duke as he rides a Multi as well, and Ducati state 36/36 for the Multi and 42/42 when loaded. Like yourself I've always run the front lower than th...

Ignore them Ross...I eat burgers like that all the time. It's the way forward. I don't think that is any comfort to Rossgo telling him hes behaving like you :D Well I'm trying to lay off the carbs a bit...so I'll just get a burger with no bun...a "lettuce wrap". They're surprisingly good....
