Re: SP2 Upgrade Test Ride

... only MCs I'd buy and loved them. The RC8 stock brakes are brilliant anyway so no need now. That's a well sorted bike you have matey. I thought the same but happy I invested now plus the way I see it I will get 80% of the cost back if I ever wanted to sell the slipper so if you look at as £140ish ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Same as I've done for the last 5 days, visiting my Mother in hospital after she blacked out with heart issues and collapsed, ripping her finger to pieces in the process. I wouldn't have minded but it was her best friend that ...

Re: Mid Wales Run 29th June

I m free on Wednesday 9th July if that date suited you boys ?

If we go will do same route which is 300 to 350 miles depending on starting point. Obviously an all dayer from 8am to 8pm but is not worth going that far for just a few hours. Does that suit you guys if so I will post an event.

Re: the right to die

... and if you have lost someone to a corrosive illness I'd expect a reply like that, tbh had our posts been reversed I'd have reacted in exactly the same way. I think we are frustrated that our own lives are beyond our control at a point where we have to trust others to do our bidding, it's anger ...

Re: Automated Answering Machines

Tbh it just gets my back up the minute the process starts. Why do you give them your details only for when a human finally answers they ask you for the same data so you end up repeating it anyway.

Re: Ebay cheaters

Report him and your suspicions to Ebay, if he's using the same IP address for both ID's they can tell and may well close him down. Scammers don't do anyone any favours.

Re: the right to die

... at home and the thought of travelling abroad to do it is a definite no no.. I'd assist one of my family if they so wished and hope they'd do the same for me as well. Bugger the consequences. I can live with a spell in jail if that's what the law felt comfortable with . At least I would be happy ...

Re: the right to die

It seems we are universally of the same mindset.?

I will make no secret of my agreement with all of the above, however.....

Is the primary (only sensible?) argument against this, that it puts us on a very slippery slope.?

Re: Panigale 1199 test ride

Am I the only one who really really wants to try "195bhp 'kin 'ell mode"? Just for a bit. The 899 makes just under 150hp. Roughly the same as a gsxr 750. That 1199 must be an animal!

Re: Another 'New Car Day' Thread

We've got the same scheme but like you it's not worth it. The mileage limit alone means I would have to pay a small fortune each year just to commute.

Panigale 1199 test ride

... must be epic as has a bit more power than the 120bhp mode but not the silly 195bhp. He reckons the 899 is more agile than the 1199 but with the same stability. Not really muhc more to say than it was just huge fun and it got looks everywhere especially with the noise barking out from the cans. ...
