Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I bumped into it a few times as I was detailing the wife's car. I had intentions of doing the same to the bike but it started pissing a cold rain (rain)

There's always tomorrow afternoon I suppose...

Re: Motobatt Batteries

I may be wrong on this but isn't it the case that not all Yuasa's are made in Japan now? I seem to remember reading that many are of chinese manufacture and quality isn't quite the same.

Re: Test rides

Did they give any reason? Seems a bit high handed to start taking deposits. I can only think they've had bikes stolen or bits swapped over, but then someone's only going to turn up with a bent card or a rubber cheque book and pull the same stunt. Good way of driving away business imho.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Only to test centre and back to get an mot but great all the same.

Hope to get out for a decent run for a few hours Sunday or Monday as feeling really rusty.

Re: Snetterton Open Pitlane Trackday - 25th June

Open pits are great as you don't get that many on at the same time in general, more down to not having the pressure to get out when they say, more when you want, time it right and it can work well.

Plus 20 mins pushing is enough, ha ha

Re: The on-going tyre saga

... the weekend and get them over to be fitted early next week, hopefully the brake pads will turn up on Tuesday then I can get everything done at the same time. It's going to be a nervy ride down to the MOT station, new tyres and new pads (sweat) better not fecking rain... Wow that's amazing! I love ...

Re: New Car

... box made by ZF. Jag have tweaked it I understand, but a number of manufacturers are now using it. A friend of mine has a Beemer 120d with the same box and loves it. I drove a boxster and a 911 before choosing the jag and the twin clutch auto box they have was really quick changing but a bit ...

Re: Insurance Loan Cars

:) I'm in the same boat as Rob. Last time I had to have a courtesy car the supplied me with "an equivalent" car.
They delivered a brand spanking new Subaru Impreza. (nod)

I did have fun "running it in" for the three weeks I had it. (giggle)

Re: lean angles?

Same here - not for the road, besides the speed required being fairly deep into license losing territory, I'd be worried about R/Handers and catching a cats eye or stone with my knee.
