Re: WTF?

Re: Argentina MotoGP

As was said in commentary though, they have shot themselves in the foot the bit after letting Canet get away with the exact same thing without any punishment at all. I cant help but feel that the worst person he could have hit and knocked off was Rossi, I'm a little annoyed with him ...

Re: WTF?

... Hussein etc etc How many of their massacres were caused by religion? Religion is the not the cause of atrocities, people are. Religion is just the same as any other belief, no matter where it orginates, it's a vehicle for men to commit violence. Billions of people follow a faith. Very few of them ...

Re: What ails you today?

Mrs Gee strictly rations her bread intake for exactly the same reason you’ve discovered Kwacky. I can’t persuade Mrs Gee, but it might be worth trying rye bread or sourdough to see if it helps, I’d be interested in how any experimentation turns out. Btw, ...

Re: Weekend plans

... got tickets to see Europe's Strongest Man. Last time I saw it was when Eddie Hall deadlifted 500kg. It was an awesome show then, and it's at the same venue so here's hoping for big things. Sunday, I'll be packing up to go to Brize Norton for a week, doing some pre-RAF-sponsored-holiday training.

Re: The Streets of London

Haven't the traffic wardens been given the same powers as Police. Dave said they have. They could mobilize their SWAT moped to combat the Massive civil unrest.

Re: The Streets of London

Jack, I realise the person who died is a criminal and that's clouding peoples judgement on this story, but all the same, everyone has to be treated equally. If the burglar had stabbed the old man and killed him, would you be telling the police to let the burglar remain at home while ...

Re: The Streets of London

Why?

You risk losing a suspect.
Arrest gives the police certain powers
The suspect is entitled to legal representation (which he has to have for murder).

Being arrested is not the same as being charged. It's a formality and it's proper policing.

I agree, if the police have no power and at the same time numbers reduced then crime will go up. Tory idiots all live in their glass houses and heavy security cars with body guards around them. They dont give a shit about the general public and their ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

So I've strained my anterior deltoid and possibly a small portion of the medial.. pretty painful.

I can't even foam roller my quads and calves because of the position I need to be in hurting my shoulder - same goes for missionary. Good thing about the latter, the gf does all the work now :D

... with the rest of it :D Starting a sentence with and is extraneous , profligate and pointless . Any sentence that starts with and has exactly the same meaning if the and is removed . I am afraid that if you see this as acceptable then you too are part of the problem . Long Live the Grammar Nazi's.

Re: is it just me?

My last road ride was 2 years ago I think.. I found exactly the same as this back then. I never got into a flow and enjoyed myself to the point where I was only focusing on riding; I always had other stuff on my mind too, just like when I'm driving a car

Same at the tyres on the Street. Really worked well on the track and on dry roads but were quick to spin up on damp and wet roads.
