Re: The Football Thread

I'm with you there. Keep the team together, make a couple of changes where needed but they could be a good squad for a few years.

Re: The Football Thread

I think regardless of what happened this team has done well, Last night may be the best thing to happen to an England team in years as these young players now know that moving forward they can win. Im not talking about this tournament but moving forward, most of this squad you have to ...

Re: Chain Cleaning

Paraffin, I bought a 4L bottle from a petrol station about 8 years ago and am still using it. Pour some into a glass coffee jar and dip the chain brush in that, between uses the muck settles out of it so it lasts for ages before you have to change it. ...

Re: Rossgo's Rear Brake

They are a good price as well. May give them a go. How many miles do you get from them?

Edit - im not too bothered if it doesnt last too long, i would prefer to change them more frequently for safe riding than carry on for years and years lol

Re: Rossgo's Rear Brake

I have been using SBS RS pads for a few years. There good but just fitted a pair on my current bike and can't say they are an improvement over the Brembo Sintered OEM pads tbh. The SBS RS were an improvement over the OEM pad on the Blade and ...

Clearly you know your stuff Monty and have done for years the pressure must be difficult having that loom over you each year. Re: Possible house move

... probably caused by the house being on a clay bed and having been through a really hot couple of summers. The house has stood there for over 100 years. It's pretty secure.

Re: The problem is spreading

... eyes widen open Andy senses on high alert while riding it's called for when we are stopped. I have been locking my car doors including Boot for years in London, I do tend to visit some shit holes... now the cars does it anyway by default. Sad world really :(

Re: T.C.

Sorry, only just picked this up.

Thanks for the good wishes, it is appreciated, but to be honest I no longer celebrate my birthday as it is also a reminder that my mother also died on my birthday 20 years ago.

So it is a day tinged with sadness for me

No chance. The batteries have an expected life of about 10 years, so that means about 3 or so years before I flog it for something newer.

The only thing that would change that is the cost of battery tech coming down quite a bit.

Re: WestWorld Series 2

... it. I don't mind clever story lines like that in a film, but not in a TV series when you're trying to keep the audience captive for months or years. This article ties up a few pieces. It also looks like they're going into the real world, which seems to be more I Robot (the books, not the film) ...

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

It not quite there yet, you could service the V4 for 10 years for the cost of one Bugatti Veyron tyre.

Re: following on from shoulder op !!

Hi there Mick, fwiw my Brother had a very similar diagnosis a couple of years back and is on a sleep pump/mask as well, he’s kipped at ours in the past and tbh you can’t hear it running. He tells me he feels so fresh in the morning compared to before he got ...

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

Its quite logical to only put back in what came out really. A couple of years ago when i did an oil change on the 748, Rick at JHP advised me to turn the back wheel by hand a few times once i thought all the oil had dripped out as it can get trapped in the ...
