... the new house came with brand new items. They both still worked fine and were in good condition. I think the washer had a new belt after about 14 years and that was it. Both were bought by my parents when we got married in 1999. I guess they don't make things like they used too.

But i do agree that white goods aren't much cop these days. Our washing machine does get used a lot but they don't last 2 years.

You know, this thread is actually a pretty good reminder....I'm sure it's been at least a couple of years since I had mine tested, and in early 50's etc., I'm sure it can't hurt to get them checked. It almost "feels" like my vision is off just a bit.

In Fairness Kawasaki will have there work cut out with the Ducati V4 next year

£21,199 (wasntme) :x That's about £5k more than this years bike.

Limited to 500. They've got some special con-rods in them which makes the bikes so expensive.

I am the same, eye test every 2 years. I went from being long sighted and being able to see a boil on a gnats bum at 500 paces and only requiring glasses to read to needing glasses for both distance and close work all the time so now I wear ...

What he said, but an excellent idea. It may at least give some statistics on the %age of those stopped who fail. Probably quite scary.

On a film set, can’t say too much because of the NDA I signed, but two fairly big names in it, one of which may have starred in the only really good Star Wars based film in recent years. The other ones a Ginger. ;)
