Re: Leicester City

... rotor to give the pilot some steerability as it's going down. Down, down, down. Down to the ground. Trouble with that D41, is that apparently they were just beginning the ascent and had only reached around 200 feet. It doesn't take long for a 4.5 tonne lump of metal to fall to earth from 200 ft.

Re: Rossgo's Trip Away!

You've got a good plan Rossgo and 200 to 300 miles a day is a good range.

To answer your question some days we were hitting 500 miles and it was too much to be enjoyable tbh. But that wasn't every day, just the odd day when we were too ambitious with our expectations.

Re: Businessman who took out injunction

How is anyone being "duped" if the man was just named in the H.O.P.???

That's about the last place you'd want to be naming people if you were trying to hide something from the public.

... certain rather "exclusive" religious groups. These people are still living in the 17th century. It's no wonder so many of these sects were originally displaced here from Europe. It's fascinating, but not in a good way.

Re: More anarchy on the streets

I was watching the BBC News this morning (too lazy to change channel) and they were talking about crime statistics. Something like violent crime up 20% and murder etc up 14% - all in one year? WTF!

It's like no-one in government cares.... oh hang on, they dont :(

A porch awning for the van. Its a lot smaller than the full awning but should be quicker to put up and still give some extra space for keeping crap when were on site.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Yep...I'd go with that. My Dad was 17 when he met my Mam, and they were together for @ 60 years. It'd be ludicrous if a life shared in such a manner didn't have a deep impact upon someone's soul.

IIRC....Captain Cook was kllled, disembowelled, and then baked.....'til the meat fell right off the bone, as it were.
