Re: Mr Postman

... is way past its best anyway. Not much to read in their anymore anyway IMHO. I think I posted it on the 765 thread but only 37,000 sportsbikes were sold in the world last year. It’s not a big market anymore especially if you think Honda sell 19 million two wheel vehicles last year.

Re: Mr Postman

It's fine if you want to reminisce about old sportsbikes and learn how to restore them. It's all a bit "we were young once". The more I read the more I agree with that, although the bit about the Fireblade Evo was interesting. I had never heard of it before... I might ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I took the long way home. There were some ice patches as well as mud on the roads which wasn't much fun. On the plus side I found that the Honda rides better in those conditions when you're more on the pegs leaning forward than sat in the seat.

Re: What are you doing today ??

I had similar looks when I jump started someone's car about a year ago. The people I helped were clueless - literally no idea you could do that, "but won't it damage my car?!"

... and can I help. One swift rummage behind the toolbox and I found the jumper cables so off I went in the car. Amazing how many passers by were interested in what I was doing, I can't remember the last time I saw someone using jumper cables come to think of it. About to have a coffee then ...

Re: Summer-ish touring jacket

I was at Oxford products the other week. They were showing me round their premises and their new products. They have a nice showroom with all the products on show.

I have Oxford clothing and very happy with it. THey were proud of their new adventure style clothing.

Re: Mr Postman

... a small review of these DP pads in the mag near the back, they rated them 7/10 because despite performing faultlessly on the project blade they were easily damaged when fitting the calipers to the discs... I wonder if those saw tooth brake discs had anything to do with that? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dtvg0W4W0AA84lA.jpg:large
