Re: The problem is spreading

There's an estate at the back of Kings Heath called Allens Croft. I think they're coming from there. That's the quickest way home for me but I've always avoided it. I've no idea what I would do if I'm attacked. You can plan it in your mind but it depends on the circumstances. Since ...

The problem is spreading

On Monday on my way home from work, as I was about 2 miles away from home, I spotted 2 muppets on a scooter. Both had their faces covered with what looked like a woolly hat pulled down with the eyes cut out. One was wearing sunglasses. ...

Re: Brexit Round 2

... they haven't.....OR, as is occasionally the case, they've circumvented the law, in which case new laws will be drawn up. Which is pretty much the way it's always been.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Took the ktm for a quick blast to stow born breakfast. To the long way back to explore some different roads.

Tested the quick shifter now its been disabled on down shift. A couple of tweaks and its all good. Now just need to program my brain to keep the throttle open on up shifts.

Re: Tesla

... government creating an infrastructure that will be used for hundreds of years, it wont do enough. This is already a problem. We're looking to go away soon with the caravan and the car will probably need to be charged on route and also while we are down in poole. The campsite only offers a 10amp ...

Re: Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

Ducati dealers here have a book/chart they go by for service stuff (all dealers here work this way).....say there's a 1.5 hour charge for an oil change, then that's all they can charge...doesn't matter how long it takes them to do it....that part is on them. The B.A.R. ...

Oil change procedure on Panigale V4

... and not pouring hot oil about in measuring jugs). Then run the bike to temperature and we know the level is correct. it's the simplest and safest way to know without waiting another 2.5 hours. Ducati suggest this procedure to ensure the bike isn't over filled and all dealers will be doing this. ...

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here

Umm ... hello! I am new - in many ways - and I just thought I'd pop here and say hello. I'm based in Birmingham, and I'm brand new to motorbiking. It's something I've always had in the back of my mind to do, but never got round to it. I'm ...

Re: Speeding charges dropped against 4 bikers

Single Justice Procedure not heard of that before.

Sounds like a way of saving money without proper due dilligence.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Re: Weekend plans

... Just a QS. It does work going down the box, but with the amount of engine braking it's not good. TBH I enjoy throttle blipping the old fashioned way, while a blipper is good it takes away the reward of a perfect gear change.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

The way I have to look at is, at 60mph it's 1 minute per mile therefore the true cost is 1 minute of smiling per mile = priceless (lol)

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Club run last night. 25/25.

Choose a pace and run out for 25 mins, then turn round and run back faster. Ran with a mate of mine and we did 8:30's out and 8's on the way back, we nailed the pacing perfectly.
