Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... all the basics, fluids, chain, fasteners, pressures etc..... Set the suspension to stock settings. Strangely the front rebound was wound all the way in and should be 12 clicks out, Pretty dramatic change :^ I'll start with base OEM settings and make adjustments as AND if I need to after a good ...

Re: What ails you today?

... combination of changing from downhill to uphill with added rotation, my head whiplashed backwards and I blacked out before my head went all the way back. I went rag-doll for more than 5 seconds, managed to stay in the dinghy then came round at the end of the slide holding my neck in pain and ...

Re: MV Agusta 800 EAS - a brief fling

Not in any way trying to put you off MV but just a heads up that when they were a Ducati dealer they got very varied reviews from very good to fecking awful.

The bike is a stunner though.

Re: MV Agusta 800 EAS - a brief fling

... very close. Both are excellent light weight screams that love to have the throttle cracked open. The 1050 is bigger and lazier, but not in a bad way. If you want to chill and take in the scenery the 1050 is cool with that. But it's versatile enough to be treated like a through the rev range sports ...

MV Agusta 800 EAS - a brief fling

... with MVs loved them. No issues apart from 2016 models having sprag clutch problems. I didn't get an MV, a very well priced 675 Street R came my way. But I'm back in the hunt for another naked and today I got a ride on an 800EAS. The dealer didn't have an 800rr which is out on loan. The EAS is ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Yep. No better way to cure a hangover. Tbh I’ve tried Hair of the dog, but didn’t work for me, staying pissed did just the once - but there was a small flaw in that plan.... Best answer is a cuppa & bacon and egg sandwich with ...

Re: Just say No

... "getting blotto " . As has been pointed out above, life is simply procrastinating our inevitable demise. Something will get us all, one way or another. Mitigating the risks is all well and good (eg.: I wouldn't bother taking up smoking), however playing it so safe that you simply exist ...

Re: Just say No

... of us who have been teetotal for over 30 years it is difficult to get our heads around wat the issue is, and I don't mean that in a judgemental way. If drinking doesn't kill you something else will, and witj all the scaremongering going on, I am honestly surprised that any of us are still alive ...

Just say No

To booze

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-45283401

It's all going to kill you, no matter how much or little you drink.

There's no way I'm going teetotal. Better to die early with a smile on my face than to have a long drawn out boring life.

Re: Brexit Round 2

... has said it's going to be illegal to pay UK citizens their pension if they live outside the UK but within the EU. Complete bollox , there is no way that could be illegal as it would mean it is illegal to transfer funds from UK to the EU which would stop all trade , its patently ridiculous scaremongering ...

Re: What you watching?

Flat-track racing.

It's like horse-racing,......for bikes. Or maybe NASCAR for Harleys.

Either way, I'm not that impressed.

Re: Honda GB400 TT

Fwiw I really like the way it looks. Tidy looking job that. Don't think the idea of owning one (or even riding one much) appeals though. It’s a real nostalgia thing for me St Marks. I learnt to ride on this era of bike, old CB250 & ...
