Including the 10 minutes of warm up and cool down walking I totalled 4.3km - my highest distance covered yet. I definitely ran slower with an average pace of 7.11/km compared...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I went for a run yesterday in the snow.. was good fun in the woods but she was a sh!t on the common. I've been for another run today and covered over 4km in about 27minutes I think. Today run was surprisingly comfortable - 2x 8 minute runs with a 5 minute rest. I set PRs for 2 miles (21:18), 1 mile ...

Re: The Football Thread

Vrancic priobably wouldn't even be first choice of all the players were fit. Certainly stepped up to the mark though.

Re: The Football Thread

we scraped past Newcastle, that may sound like im moaning but im not, im happy with the team at the mo, missing key players, not had a full week off since before Christmas, no signings since Jan 18, yet still getting results in the league, highest points tally ever in a season so far. I'll take that...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Our snowfall was pitiful near me but I live so close to the river (and our altitude is something like 20m from sea level) that we're always about 2 degrees warmer than the rest of the country during winter - sadly means limited snow!

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I thought about going for a run in the snow but then the mother-in-law-to-be came round with her dogs so we all went out for a play in the snow instead.

I'm always surprised by how grippy snow is!

Re: The Football Thread

I'd keep an eye on Middlesbrough. yeah was thinking more in terms of teams you dont so much support, but maybe follow, be it different leagues, abroad etc, just thinkin...

Re: The Football Thread

No second team.

But used to follow QPR circa 1975 when they changed the way football was being played in this Country. Very much taken from the Dutch national team of that era. Total football.

Re: The Football Thread

Not really. When I was a kid I used to keep an eye on Chelsea. I can't remember why.

I've been to Walsall and Coventry to watch football occasionally.
