Re: Trailblazing in Sweden

... was more the riding and Country that I liked. I never quite get the appeal of a guided tour, surely half the fun is finding places yourself? Off-road riding is a different beast in my experience Duke. Finding your way on a seal road you are pretty confident conditions are reasonably consistent. ...

Re: Triumph 1200 Scrambler

£11500 for the road biased bike and £12300 for the more off road version. Not bad value in today's money.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I got a wheelie from the Versys this morning as I raced an Audi away from the slip road lights.

By wheelie I mean that the front sorted of skipped off the ground by a few inches.

That Versys is fecking slow off the line (lol)

Re: A Third bike

Yes thats understandable! What about the new Kwack 636? It's new, will be a cracking road bike I'm sure. Grab a Akra can for it. However unsure how much they start at!

Re: This will please Frankie

Agreed. No reason to have them on the road now. Unless we have the room for a cycle lane...But even they dont seem to get used. We have a huge one down our main road all the way into our main town Reading. It was never there before and used ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

... the bike last night and went over it to check everything was ok. I noticed on the front wheel a few tiny black dots. I thought it was off the road but they wouldn't wash off. The dots are smooth so it's not road crud. I haven't used anything different to clean the bike and it's not been used ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

Pirelli also do a Scorpion Rally STR tyre with a more off road bias but still good on the road. It's fitted as standard to the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled.

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

The Scorpion Trail is standard fit on the Multistradas and there is a version two out now.

It was a superb road tyre with plenty of grip in all conditions.

Re: Aprilia RSV4 Factory 2019 promo

Torque.

I think its getting more difficult to make a 1000cc road bike that also works well on the track especially as the WSBK rules mean the racebike has to be more like the roadbike.

Re: A Third bike

... I notice that Fast Bikes has it quicker round a kart track than either the Superduke or Tuono. Still think that 1050 engine is probably the best road bike engine out there that I have ridden to date.

Re: A Third bike

... update. You know how great the 09-12 is but my personal favourite is the 13+. Better looking IMO and a very strong engine more suited to the road. 765RS - it's the bike I want for the road. I think it will have enough torque to be a little lazy but you'll still have to work it to get a proper ...

Re: Tankslap Euro 2019

If we've got time at any point could we swing across to Autun? We might have time from Orleans to Dijon. The road from Nevers to Autun looks decent on the map and it's in the Morvan.

No worries if it makes the day long, it's just somewhere I would like to see.

Re: Triumph official moto2 engine supplier from 2019

The basics of the Moto2 engines are standard road bike engines.

I don;'t think they are tuned for big power.
