Re: NW200

... ensure he will be remembered, he will never achieve anything like this again. It's how they earn their living. They can make some good money from road racing but I do agree that there ought to come a point when you decide that you have pushed your luck far enough with the crashes and walked away. ...

Re: Time for a new lid!

Like Godzilla, I have never found another helmet that fits me better than a Shoei and I currently own a GT Air.. Internal sun visors are so much better for road use.

Time for a new lid!

... got an AGV like this.... http://www.motorcyclenews.com/upload/251293/images/AGV%20offer.jpg But when the Honda eventually makes it on the road....I'm gonna look like a bit of a helmet wearing that on a cafe racer type bike. So, after something I can use on both the Daytona and the CB. ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... ago. it was a really good night. Obviously Whitham has most of the funny stories to tell, Foggy tells more of the biking tales. I asked them why road racers who are fast at the IOM, can't win short circuit races and vice versa. They were both adamant that if the fastest short circuit guys wanted ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing M7rr Metzeler review

I got try these out today in standing water and damp roads.

Blimey, talk about stable. For everyday road riding it's like the roads are dry. No movement, no slides, normal braking.

I'm very impressed.

Re: Neighbour disputes

... allow the kids to climb and jump on the bonnet and roofs. They have a push go karts with solid plastic wheels which makes a right noise on the road and I lost the plot one Saturday morning at 8am when they were outside, going up and down on this kart but by the time Id got dressed and went ...

Thundersport GB - Round 3 Race Report - Snetterton

... 200 – 3-5 May 2014 It’s the other long haul race for us driving from Bury (taking 5 hours each way, not helped by the seemingly permanent road works on the A11). This was also one of last year’s bogey tracks for me, where I notched up my only DNF to date (A very wet race last year where ...

Re: Neighbour disputes

Monty - no trams in Brum for a couple of years. Cookie - we know the owner of the house. Perky knows him as well, he used to live at the top of our road and owned a Kwak. Myrs Kwacky is going to call him today. Perky - You're more than welcome to. Deegee - your's sounds 50 times worse. I suspect ...

Neighbour disputes

... point out that kids are supposed to do that, rather than scream the house down at 2am. So after that we've left them to it. We live in a terraced road. There is a tree on the pavement outside my neighbours house. For the 15+ years we've live there we and a few of our nearby neighbours have put ...

Re: Ethanol

... agree with all the above, fecking Civil servants without a clue, doing what looks right as opposed to what is right. Can see an awful lot of off- road bikes and some road bikes having problems with tanks falling apart, my old Tiger has got a plastic tank, guess it's just a matter of time for it.

Re: Kwacky's ongoing M7rr Metzeler review

Good write up Kwacky and enjoyed reading it sounds like a very good road tyre. I thought the comment on the carcass feeling soft was interesting as from personal experience I have always found the same with Pirelli and Metzler tyre's which is a trait I like ...

It had been raining in the morning with a couple of showers on the way back so the roads were cold and there were damp patches ...

Re: A537 Cat and Fiddle Bike Crash

No I could either mate.

I was talking to a guy at the MOT place the other day and he listed of about 8 offences he was being charged with, stuff like, dangerous driving, endangering other road users, not taking due care and attention.....not sure on the facts but sounded like he was facing prison
