... Call it two-and-a-half Desmosedici RRs. Or an NR750 and enough change to get a brand new S1000RR for daily use. Or, possibly, one of Honda’s RCV road bikes as and when they get around to actually making them. I wouldn't mind but it doesn't look that good IMO Read more: http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-new-bikes/the-100000-gp-bike-for-the-road/25116.html#ixzz348qdHcO3

Re: Poll: Has the Isle of Man TT become too dangerous?

... a different breed now to what they where even 10 years ago. Tyres, brakes, chassis, electrics, etc all have improved immeasurably. But riding on a road circuit against the clock is always going to be a risk, but that's what the riders love IMO.

Guy Martin to race in the States

... It seems Guy Martin, the barely understandable, though immediately lovable road racer of Isle of Man TT fame will compete in the 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. One of the stars of the Isle of Man TT, and perhaps ...

That's useful info. I tend to use BP as there's one next to work and one just down the road from me.

Re: Fantasy Road Race

Not a bad weekend but had a dnf and a crash in moto3 and both riders were in the front group so disappointing.

Really enjoying watching moto3 at the moment. Its the best class of racing in any series at the moment IMO.

I like them mate!! They look pretty snazzy.

And as you say, any additional signalling which other road users may see is a bonus

Re: Trackdays - Moving on up

I'm glad you posted this. I was thinking about Novices as I don't know the circuit, having last ridden it about 14 years ago. They've thrown in a chicane since then, I'm track rusty and on my own road bike.

Hmmm.

Re: First gen daytona 675 quickshifter

... in the UK are the Techtronic and the HM, both have a good name for reliability, iirc can be adjusted for shift cut duration and available in race/road shift. From what I recall the HM is the more expensive option but seems to have more cachet attached to it as they're used in pro race series more.

Re: SP Syncrotech QS

I took the quick shifter I had on the rc8 off and sold it, I'd always wanted one and great fun but not really necessary on the road.

Perfect for the track mind (y)

Re: SP Syncrotech QS

The 848 Corse SE i test rode last year had a quickshifter. Its a great piece of kit and would work really well on the track but not sure it has any benefit on the road.
