Re: Someone please let me know...

... My thought is that they are static cameras? A static camera is usually along the lines of a Gatso and are defined by the callibration marks on the road. Static cameras on the Motorway are also defined by callibration lines in each lane In these cases they will record your speed at a precise moment ...

Re: Someone please let me know...

... think it would be false plates mate.!! (shake) Everyone is using cloned plates these days Rossgo, didn't you know.? Saves on: speeding tickets, road tax, loss of no claims, parking fines. It also makes it far easier to get away when you make off without paying. Hth.

Re: Middleweights

Its one of the biggest reasons i changed the RC8. It was fun, but too fast 90% of the time or it wasn't running fast enough on the road to extract all of it's capabilities. You needed to be doing 120 mph all the time. I wont buy a sportsbike over 800cc again. Street Triple 765 is perfect ...

Re: Talking of silly over powered bikes..

... for biking in generl that not many can afford to buy and run one. I have to say they i would not trust myself with the V4 Panigale on the road. Where previous bikes got to xxxmph and then the pull starts to slow, the V4 was easily +30 on that and still pulling very very hard. That gives ...

Re: Talking of silly over powered bikes..

... 6 seconds quicker than the Daytona gets to 140mph and boy can you feel the difference. It may read as just a little number here, but on the road the difference in acceleration is very stark. Scary stark tbh (whew) Riding both last week in damp and cold conditions I would have to honestly ...

Re: Talking of silly over powered bikes..

It has less torque than the KTM SuperDuke so on the road the KTM should pull away until the MV gets up into the higher revs. Looks nice but the price will be eye watering. Even my superduke gt can't use all of its power without upsetting the traction ...

Re: New Panigale V4R

It isn't meant to be a road bike though is it? It's purely a way for them to get an advantage in WSBK. Sod the people that buy it as a road bike - either they'll take it on track and have a great laugh or they will use it once a year and never take the bike over 3k miles

Re: New Panigale V4R

Re: Rossgo's Trip Away!

The A686 is a famous bikers road.

Bit too far northern for me to visit regular but definitely one of the top UK roads to ride.

Hope you enjoy it
