Re: What are you doing today ??

... aftermarket DRL. It flashed with the indicators, that was classified as Dangerous and the car had to be recovered by the AA so it could be fixed. Getting caught driving a car with a dangerous or major fault, even if the previous MOT is valid can still land you with up to £2500 fine, 3 points, ...

I know it's old tech now and there are plenty to beat it. All I can suggest is wait until you are in the mood for bike shopping and have ...

Re: Talk me out of it....

... little crack and blemish but nothing major, there's a small crack in the corner of the left headlight but it sailed through the mot and it's not getting any worse. The subframe and swingarm paint is also bubbling up in a few areas (a common theme on these bikes) and I was going to strip them ...

Been to town changed up euros back to GBP, been to bank, popped to Specsavers and booked an appointment to get my eyes checked as i seem to be getting an issue with one of them and doctors around here are useless so easier to wait a week for an eye appointment and pay for it than wait a month ...

Re: R1 at Suzuka

Apart from getting on the brakes later and harder
and carrying more lean angle
and corner speed
and getting on the gas earlier and harder
and having better body position on the bike
and being braver
that could be me ........

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Took the SD out for the first time in what seems like ages.

Decided to have some fun and set myself the challenge of getting to the south coast and back using without using any of my familiar routes. I aimed for near Bournemouth, I stopped at a cafe just before as it was too sodding hot.

Re: Journey to Biking

... to learn is the biggest W***er going. Not the best way to get the best out of a pupil. Glad you kept on with it... best advise I can give is getting out as often as you can, relax and if possible get out with others always good to see other peoples lines, road positions etc,. Welcome on board.
