Re: Broadband Speed Checker

Thanks Bud, tried the BTW checker, apparently the max speed my line will allow is 2 mbps which seems awfully slow to me, the BT's in the wifes name so I'll get her to check the account and upgrade if possible, thanks again :)

Your ten codes have to be different than mine!

Interpreted in my everyday speak, you just said, "'negative' 'til we do it again mate."

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I'm so glad I washed my bike yesterday. We had one of those rain storms with dust in it during the day so my bike is filthy again.

Re: Ebay advice

(rolf)

I did it for a friend once on his mountain bike. It pushed somebody else's maximum bid up.
Then he asked me to do it again (getting greedy).

I won it. (facepalm)

Next day he told me I had to pay him. I gave him a dead leg and we called it quits!

Re: What would you do?

Never atcually been refused. I can however see why they ask you to remove your lid but does it really warrant it?
I hate having to take the lid off and putting g it back on again it just takes the piss. All you want to do is fuel up pay up and ride away simple really!

Re: Ebay advice

... done it myself but have had other people ask me when the price isn't where they want it to be. If the friend wins the auction then you can sell it again "due to timewasters" or something, but you do have to pay the listing fees and everything!
