Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

Just picked it up. Taken a look. Wow its expensive and to be honest you can see why. Even the packaging oozes luxary. (I like packaging been in manufacturing far too long to be able to say that!!) But opened it all up love how the sensor is in its own gold foiled package!! Even get your own cap!! Ho...

Re: Quickshifter Recommendations

Received confirmation that the delivery company dropped my QS into a neighbour. I also asked my partner to print off the instructions. I've read them once but I'm going to go through it all again 2hile taking a look at the kit to familiarise myself with it

Re: Mr Postman

Not the post but picked up a bottle of Paraffin for chain cleaning and also some cheap blue towel (tissue) for when i work on bikes, always comes in handy both from B&Q. So cheap for paraffin, less than £7.50 for 5 litres. I do need to clean my chain as haven't cleaned it for the summer, but i d...

Re: Silverstone MotoGP

How can they resurface without sorting a adequate drainage system, surely that's like buy a £100k Lambo without the handcrafted engine but replaced with a 15 year ford Mondeo engine?!

Re: Blades Scalpel

Awesome Blade. Loving this project/ touring equipped bike! As for tyres maybe try the BT 016PRO. I've had them on for approx 800 miles now and have used them in the rain and dry, sweeping and straight roads and to be fair they havent missed a beat for a reasonable price. But then again they are an o...

Re: Wonga no longa

At end of the day they gave people loans who were refused by everyone else due to bad credit. It's crazy to bill someone at 1000% over their initial loan and think they will pay them back!!

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

This *gah* My tinted HJC RPHA 11 visor has now got a chunk missing. It's clearly an issue with the locking mechism being there and the amount of force you need to lock the visor shut. It's approx a year and half old but with very little mileage on it due to having 2 visors for this lid and 2 differe...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Today rode 230 miles all in to Cheddar Gorge. What absolutely amazing roads to get there. I went with 2 of my mates and we got a move on. I sh!t myself up a couple of times though. The first I was shifting and didn't quite realise how quick I was going and how sharp the bend was so instead of panick...
