Re: BT sport

Enjoying the btsport motogp coverage but disappointed they don't show warmup which Eurosport always did. You forgot to mention how irritating and non biker experienced Melanie Sykes is. She's like a robot frankly. Spoils it. I watch a lot of it slightly behind time so I can fast forward through her...

Re: Headstock Paddock Stand or Abba?

The Harris headstock stand I have has different attachments for different bikes. There is a chance one particular attachment may fit both bikes that you own but cannot be guaranteed without checking. Perhaps give Harris performance a ring. Even if your not planning on buying from them, their very he...

Re: Metzeler M7RR - First Ride

None of us are Marc Marquez but you don't have to be to notice a difference / improvement so don't feel you have to be a riding god as I'm certainly not just have a try I think you mat prefer it.

Re: Metzeler M7RR - First Ride

Yes I would Spudda. IMO those pressures are high to cover carrying pillions, commuting with cold tyres that never get very hot so not much pressure increase.

Try dropping them to 34/38 when going for a blast and see how you get on. If you don't like it nothing lost and 2 minutes to change back.

Re: Jerez

All good races tbh. They are all racing for second behind him. Jorge should be worried after today I think. Rossi beating him comfortably when he had such a good pace on Friday and Saturday and looked so strong for a win must have got in his head as well. He really isn't getting on with this new br...

Spudda wrote:Just watched the ITV 4 Highlights

9 Laps to go and its Marquez, Rossi, DanPed, Jorge and they go to ad break
Comes back with 5 laps to go and DanPed has done Lorenzo and theres no mention if it

That is ridiculous imagine if they did similar when screening a high profile football match.

Re: Metzeler M7RR - First Ride

Cheers Nutz good info and very interesting. Every bike I have ever owned the manufacturer's say 36/42 which is way to high IMO. Good to hear Aprilla take a more sensible approach. I tend to run 34/38 if cold and 32/36 in warmer climes. After reading your post I think I will lower further and see if ...

Re: Metzeler M7RR - First Ride

So there M5's just better (giggle)

Got to admit they do sound very impressive and a great faster road tyre.

Out of interest what pressures do you tend to run Nutz ?

Re: Metzeler M7RR - First Ride

Good write up Nutz and glad you looked them. Have they purposely made the carcass stiffer ? As Metzler and pirelli's are normally soft which I have always liked about them. Coming over Dunlop's and going onto M5's for the first time the compliance of the metzlers over ripples etc..was so much better...

Jerez

Another brilliant moto3 race, moto2 less exciting but bikes were sliding in the hot temperatures should make for some spectacular motogp side ways action.
