Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

... the next if they're similar. I don't think you test yourself or learn anything (that's not a dig at anyone who has owned the same bike for a few years :D) so it's going to take me time to switch from being able to just riding it to gelling with it. I plan to own it for a while so there's no rush ...

Re: Audi e-tron - the future

Watched a programme the other day where calculations are that in the UK a hot summers day will be low 40s C and winter days will average double figures. And all within 30 years from now.

Re: Audi e-tron - the future

... for now. Much less polluting than any current modern car You will be so restricted in its use soon though that it won’t be worth having. Within 10 years I wouldn’t be surprised if only electric vehicles are allowed in town centres. Maybe even half that time. As the article says, once one city shows ...

The death of Britain?

... Welsh want out. I wonder if the break up of the UK will finally see the end of the shite party politics we have had to put up with for the last 10 years and/or will it make England even more London-centric? The irony of this being down to people who championed the UK and GB as bigger than the EU ...

Nigel Farage, Russia and the West

Re: What you watching?

... we're seeing the very last of anything WW2 related - bar the odd exception. This sort of thing only seems to last as long as living memory. Ten years from now, no-one will make movies like this anymore....there'll be no-one left who can relate to it, so no audience for it.
