Re: What are you eating ??

... agree more. 'It was OK' springs to my mind for the last time I ate there. I personally think its gone down hill, haven't been there for maybe 2 years or so but last time it all tasted like frozen food, not want you would expect when you are paying a fair amount for a simple dish. Also Frankie ...

Re: A Third bike

848s have a really nice motor. The smaller Ducati sportsbikes are a bit revvier than the 1000cc+ bikes and have a nice balance of revs and torque.

The 848 Corse SE i rode a few years back was one of the nicest Ducatis i have ridden.

Re: Brexit Round 2

I've just fixed my mortgage rate for the next 10 years. I may end up paying more, possibly not, but at least I know what it's going to be for the next 10 years. See you on the other side! I've been wondering if I should do the same, still got 2 years ...

I did say in the article that there must be hundreds of different thoughts and ideas. They are just 5 that have worked for me over the years.

Re: New Avengers Film

Disappointed.

Thought for a moment there we were going to get a new Steed, Gambit & Purdey show!!

But now that Joanna Lumley looks about 400 years old, maybe it's for the best that we don't.

Re: A Third bike

... 848 is gorgeous. I bet it sounds just as good as well with those Terrys on it. My problem is that I've not ridden a Ducati sportsbike for about 10 years now. I have no idea if I like them. I think a Ducati is more than the sum of it's parts. They're an "owner's bike" in a way Japanese ...

... about much for them. My wife already does too much and I don't want to put any more pressure on her. Looking further down the line, in a couple of years, she won't have to do so much for them (I hope) which means more time for her. I don't want her to have that time and be on her own.

Re: Scooters

I commuted around London for nearly 10 years on a super sport bike. A scooter would have been infinitely better for the purpose on just about every level, but I just couldn't do it.

Yes, I'm a scooter snob.
