Re: Brexit Round 2

... to volunteer. Canvas! That's a pipe dream at the moment, they haven't got enough members to man the poling stations. They received more money last year in legacy than from actual living party members.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

3rd day back at it for me today. With plans for my training to skyrocket this year combined with an awareness that if I go ballistic straight away I'm going to injure myself, I've been pushing but not too hard. Weights are pretty light but pushing out up to 20 ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I hate how horrible the roads are this time of the year. Really greasy and covered in crap. I had to wash my lid last night as it was filthy. I dread to think what crap I breath in during the commute.

Credit where credit is due

Thursday last week, I received a reminder that my driving licence was up for its 10 year renewal/update. So, rather than wait, I thought I would get on and do it and try the online system. fairly straight forward and simple, everything including payment went through ...

A blood orange - one of may faves. You can only get the for a few weeks each year as they only grow in Sicily.

Re: Weekend plans

Not a lot really. Hectic couple of weeks through New Year up until now, so resting and looking after the dog. Using the time to do some techie and paperwork admin, plus some financial stuff.

Sometimes it's nice to just sit.

Oh and eating the final box of mince pies we bought over Christmas. Nom.

Re: 2019 Biking plans

Just to get out on it. I wasted so many good riding days last year not doing anything.

And at Christmas my daughter asked if we could go out on the bike when it was a bit warmer. I didn't bring it up, hadn't even mentioned the bike at all and she came out with that, which made me very happy.

Re: 2019 Biking plans

My biking plans for this year are just hoping to be able to ride confidently again on both bikes. If My body is good enough to manage a weekend away with Jess on the back before years end it'll be a win in my books.

Re: 2019 Biking plans

I'd like to go to the IOM but during the Manx/Classic or for practice week. Plus the mountain is better as it's one way. I'll know what time i have later this year.

Re: 2019 Biking plans

Yes depending on dates I would be interested.

It's been too long and I fancy a good thrash over the Mountain, I still remember the first year chasing you over the top on a 600rr Repsol and you launching engine mouting bolts at me (rock)
