Re: The Football Thread

I see Wenger has agreed to leave Arsenal a year early so he's off at the end of this season. He's done a decent job. I think his early success at the club meant expectations sky rocketed, but it's very hard to compete with the spending we've seen ...

Re: Test ride day

No I haven't looked at KTM yet, I have another year before the PCP runs out on the MT-10 so I have time to decide what to get next. The R1200rs was seriously impressive for me and the best looking. I know from reputation that the superduke 1290 ...

Re: Test ride day

There's a new Superduke 1290GT coming out next year so there could be bargains to be had with the current model. I don't know if you've looked at KTMs?

Test ride day

Today I went to the local BMW dealer to try out some possible replacements for the MT-10, it will be next year before the PCP is up and either needs a big payment/HP finance or hand it back so I was looking for inspiration and was also off work today and couldn't let such a ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Rode it to the garage after work so that they can stick some new tyres on and MOT it tomorrow. First time I've ridden it this year. Wasn't sure where the garage was so I followed Mrs Itchy in the car. I'm glad I did as well as there were police parked up on the motorway, pointing at me ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Stalking and hunting spring time wobblers. I love this time of year. Full on sportsbikes with matching leathers clad riders being over taken on the outside of bends by some auld fecker on a Versys 650

it's petty but it's funny.

Re: KTM 790 Duke - Review

A lot of people on the PB Mag forum bought the cheap 390s last year and loads of them are reporting build quality issues already.

Re: Just one bike

Please correct me if I'm wrong but in a PCP arrangement are you not just paying the depreciation over that 2 or 3 year period ? If you can get a Desmosedici on a PCP deal then it is highly likely that it will maintain its value or even appreciate in value over the 2 or 3 year period ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... that all the demo bikes are out today and so is the loaner. So I've got the spare loaner, an ER6 (gah) not what you want on the nicest day of the year so far!

Re: What are you doing today ??

Sweating. It's got hot here quite quickly and even Europe has had a crappy winter, so i'm not used to it yet this year. Getting the shades and summer furniture out - Summer in April! 29 degrees today.

Re: 675 forks

I don't know, otherwise I'd do my own (giggle)

Give Darren a call and see what he recommends for that bike and year.
