Punctures in the wife's car. Its the fourth one in just over a year and they wont repair this one as its too close to the sidewall. the second that has resulted in a new tyre. I feel your pain. In 2 years I've been through 6 tyres on the BMW, the shortest ...

Re: Joke of the day

You know this country is f*cked up when a 97 year old pensioner who has spent his entire life scrounging of the state can afford to be driving around in a brand new Range Rover.

Re: Silverstone Motogp 2019

I thought Dorna would only award them the rights to host Motogp if they confirmed it would be resurfaced. I guess the resurfacing delays are now what is causing the problem.

It would be a shame if they lost it but tbh after last year I wouldn't rush back anyway.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

3rd day back at it for me today. With plans for my training to skyrocket this year combined with an awareness that if I go ballistic straight away I'm going to injure myself, I've been pushing but not too hard. Weights are pretty light but pushing out up to 20 ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I hate how horrible the roads are this time of the year. Really greasy and covered in crap. I had to wash my lid last night as it was filthy. I dread to think what crap I breath in during the commute.

Thursday last week, I received a reminder that my driving licence was up for its 10 year renewal/update. So, rather than wait, I thought I would get on and do it and try the online system. fairly straight forward and simple, everything including payment went through ...

Re: Weekend plans

Not a lot really. Hectic couple of weeks through New Year up until now, so resting and looking after the dog. Using the time to do some techie and paperwork admin, plus some financial stuff.

Sometimes it's nice to just sit.

Oh and eating the final box of mince pies we bought over Christmas. Nom.

Re: 2019 Biking plans

Just to get out on it. I wasted so many good riding days last year not doing anything.

And at Christmas my daughter asked if we could go out on the bike when it was a bit warmer. I didn't bring it up, hadn't even mentioned the bike at all and she came out with that, which made me very happy.
