Re: Talking about insurance
Fwiw I change our vehicle policies every year, have done so since long before Compare the Meercat & the others were around. I realised very early on that there was always another insurer who would offer us insurance cheaper than our renewals. ...

Yep, legally enforced too.Kwacky wrote:Basically they've got us over a barrel.
Let's face it, insurance is about the only thing that we dutifully pay every year & yet keep our fingers crossed that it's a waste of money.

... price to renew has gone up as although we have honored your 50% discount, the discount was applied to a premium of £1000 and not £750 like last year, so your cost to renew is now £500 not £375 (swear)

I have a 12 year old fiesta and that was about £400 with 1 years NCB but I was 20 when I first insured it.
I paid £1000 for the ninja for the first year TPFT too, £500 fully comp for the second year

Re: Cav's ZX6R Review
I thought the quote I was given for the SX from my insurers at the time was bad - £1,000
I'm pretty much certain 5 years discount is the most they'll give.
I do wonder about modern day insurance companies. My mate's 19 year old son has been quoted £7,300 for TPFT on a 15 year old Fiesta.

Meh Maybe i'm just spoiled then haha.
I'm seriously considering going all out and financing an RSV4-RF next year... For a road and occasional track bike that would be amazing.

I sat and watched "A Good Year" last night; with a large glass of cognac in my hand that just evaporated during the film, I was very at peace with the world afterwards.
