Re: What are you doing today ??

Off to the Newbury country show today. First year dogs are allowed to enter the show. Haven't been for 3 or 4 years but it's a good day. Dog shows, horse shows, car or motorcycle stunt shows, fresh food, dog accessory stalls etc.

Re: Dropped My Bike Today.

It’s not if, it’s when. Doubt there’s many on here that haven’t had a under 5mph drop of some kind. I’ve had a few!!

Last on was this time last year, two up, gravel driveway and 2 metres into a 160 km trip.

Re: Fenati

Mansi (the rider he did it to) rides for Fenati's team he had signed for next year so will be interesting to see if they cancel his contract for next year...

I'm glad he's been sacked - the guy is mentally unstable imo. Not the first time he's had trouble either ....

Re: A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports

Good review. Been toying with the idea of a adventure bike for a trip next year. No were near this budget and it HAS to perform off road and still be easy for a a novice like me.

... something a bit different. Where are you staying in the Isle of Man? Watch your bikes in Liverpool, there have been a few thefts from hotels this year. Very much looking forward to it. Been wanting to go for ages but never slotted in well enough! We will be staying at a Glamping site which through ...

A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports

... mileage on my Versys, although he did acknowledge it's in excellent condition. The offer on the table is appealing. It would make an excellent all year round bike. The rider modes and the ability to change the ABS, traction control and engine braking means you can programme it so it's all set up ...

He will also be doing 5 races on the Aprilia next year. Sounds like a good job to be doing to me.

Re: 2019 provisional Motogp calendar

They had it in June for years and the weather was shit every year.

The calendar has to fit around the logistics of moving 50 trucks and 2000 people round the world.

Africa Twin DCT

... changes. Seriously. doing u turn in a street parked up and just pulling away you cannot feel the gear engaging and pulling away. I do 20k miles a year and use my one bike for everything. This is a serious contender on first impression. I recommend having play on one for an hour before you knock ...

Re: Lorenzo having second thoughts?

It is a shame as he would have been a challenger for the championship next year on the Ducati.

It will be fascinating next year though.......
