Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... I'm sure we'll sort it out but it will likely mean a couple of hard years now and no chance of bike time for another couple of years. I thought we were just about scraping through as it was. I've already been advertising what little I have for sale. Talking of which, anybody interested in the latest ...

Re: What you watching?

... certain rather "exclusive" religious groups. These people are still living in the 17th century. It's no wonder so many of these sects were originally displaced here from Europe. It's fascinating, but not in a good way.

Re: More anarchy on the streets

I was watching the BBC News this morning (too lazy to change channel) and they were talking about crime statistics. Something like violent crime up 20% and murder etc up 14% - all in one year? WTF!

It's like no-one in government cares.... oh hang on, they dont :(

Re: What you watching?

... me. Another use told us his age, where abouts in London he lived, what he does for a living and how much he earned. His face was covered but we were inside his flat. It wouldn't take much to work out who he was. 2 lads in Manchester ordered theirs through the internet and it was posted to them. ...

A porch awning for the van. Its a lot smaller than the full awning but should be quicker to put up and still give some extra space for keeping crap when were on site.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Yep...I'd go with that. My Dad was 17 when he met my Mam, and they were together for @ 60 years. It'd be ludicrous if a life shared in such a manner didn't have a deep impact upon someone's soul.

IIRC....Captain Cook was kllled, disembowelled, and then baked.....'til the meat fell right off the bone, as it were.
