Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

... 10 miles and it was absolutely dreadful Well that's aftermarket bar-ends for you in general, I think.....the PVC ends they made us use for racing were fcuking awful for that.....two laps in, and I couldn't stand the things anymore....but much of that could have been nerves. My hands had definitely ...

Re: 30 years ago tomorrow

This was Rogers car. (we had personal issue back in those days) There were something like 40 points of entry and 20 points of exit. It wasn't just all the bullet holes, but you can imagine the mess inside as well. Anyway, the insurance company wanted to put ...

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

Nice write up Rossgo. If you dont mind me asking were you forceful with the QS? Reason I ask is at first I wasn't and I was being too mechanically sympathetic which made the shifts very crude and jerky. Certainly with the translogic on my ten if ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Legs and arms. My hamstrings were screaming during the squats so I dropped the leg press from the routine to give them a rest.

Re: Brexit Round 2

isn't requiring a transitional period an admittance that we are better off in the EU and Customs Union?

Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

D - could well be right it could be the bar ends as well but didn't notice that they were aftermarket ones. I just found it very strange and not pleasant. The bike didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all and therefore I didn't feel tense throughout the ride, it made ...

Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

... The big Showa BFF front forks give you enough feed back and in fact glide over all the bumps in our road and just create a planted feeling Tyres were the Bridgestone Battlelax RS10R I was a bit nervous about them as I was thinking they would be like the supercorsas and I HATE them because they ...

Re: Super Soco Electric Bike/Moped review

I'd buy that bike now if the price was reasonable and charging stations were plentiful. I like new tech and I'm open to electric bikes when they mirror performance, range and price of what I ride now. As for being my only bike, not just yet. As for women and ...

Interesting as the commentators thought Ducati were fuel saving so they could turn them up at the end. I really don't like racing that restricts fuel - let the riders fight it out! Lorenzo did look ...

Re: Kwacky's Triumph 765RS Review

So I had a play with Cookie's 765 R The roads were damp, it was being run in and the owner was in front of me. The RS was a demo model that had done a couple of track days so I had no qualms with spanking the RS, whereas the R was treated with respect. ...
