I've been put off this by the feedback i had from a colleague who went with the local group.
He reckoned they were fine on the training but went out for a long ride with them later and they rode like complete pillocks.

halve the working week and double the hourly rate , instantly twice as many jobs , and besides that its pretty much what we were promised (that machines would work and we would have more leisure time ) by Tomorrow's World and the Jetsons .

Sadly I've crashed and damaged folding and solid footrests as well as breaking levers and lever perches, however the parts for my solid rearsets were considerably cheaper than Triumph wanted for new oem parts, so I continued with the rearsets, I didn't bend the frame mounting points at any point ...
