Update.... Ok have totally re-done the front and rear suspensions settings, making them firmer (a tad harder over standard) as they were at their softest settings. Doh. Now feels a completely different bike. Hardly any clunking. Still the movement in the fork yet night and day difference. ...

... you actually use that vehicle or keep it in the garage....that's a matter of legislation, it has nothing at all to do with cyclists. If you were to ban cyclists from the roads would the govt. do away with road tax?? No, they wouldn't.

Kawasaki and lubrication, or lack of it!

... sure this front tyre and the brake pads are the originals from 6 years ago, so probably the first time they've been taken off and the treads were bone dry. As was the front wheel axle and nuts. And while I'm at it, 6mm allen head on a 10mm bolt, why would you do that unless you wanted them ...

I agree they're entitled to space on the road but be sensible... on a 60mph hedge lined road 3 abreast is plainly and simply stupidity of the highest order! Oh, and this bit of road is on an incline so they were doing maybe 20mph?!

Took the long way home. Couldn't believe that my hands were cold. Summer gloves should be worn this time of year.

Good ride home though, the SX handles surpisingly well for a big girl.

I always thought if your MOT had ran out you were allowed to ride it to the MOT centre only if you had a prebooked appointment and you rode straight there.
