Re: Bosnia

There are deep ethnic divisions in the region which have not gone away since the war. Key statement right there. It's Eastern Europe in general. Too many ethnic groups with a clan-like mindset that goes back way before the war(s) that have been waged in that ...

Re: Take A Guess.....

I met Buzz Aldrin years ago at the Science Museum in Santa Ana. "How did it feel to go all that way & be the SECOND person to walk in The Moon??" "Oh...it wasn't a big deal - part of the job. I knew for months ahead of time "...etc. "Did you ever ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

... that. It is pretty easy to hustle. The big grunt from low down means you can slice and dice the traffic. I got in some short overtakes on the way home this afternoon. It's just at home cruising as well. The build quality really is excellent. It's very well put together. And it sounds fecking ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

282 miles on the last tankful. Just under 23 litres to fill up this morning. I took the opportunity on the way home to look for some new roads. One of the roads some some nice rises on it. I found that if you get the AT airborne the TC kicks in, so when the bike lands it feels ...

Re: Interserve on the brink

This isn't really about Brexit but everything to do with the appalling way these companies are allowed to quote and bid on Government contracts. I have been told they bid at a loss with the intention of taking the money back from their suppliers and subcontractors ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I thought I would use Big Bertha for the commute today.

It was a horrible ride this morning. Heavy rain, loads of spray, windy and dark. Hopefully it's s bit drier on the way home.

Re: Brexit Round 2

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

I wouldn't call it laziness but I hate doing anything the long way. I don't know if it's a generational thing but I cannot stand it - I have little patience for a few things in life and the long way is one of them. Building the workshop isn't the same to ...
