Re: Journey to Biking

... i wanted to be. It's a gradual and fun process to build your skills. You become far more aware and see hazards and the road in a very different way. It makes your car driving skills move on significantly too. I went straight to a sportsbike when i passed and although i loved it, in hindsight ...

1050 Speed Triple RS

... 4 regs killing the fun. With only an hour I couldn't get the bike out on country roads, but I do know some twisty residential roads around that way. so apologies to the locals for treating your streets like a test track. It's a fantastic bike, it really is. It's piss easy to ride slow or fast, ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... the starter and left home at 9:45. Google maps was set to avoid main roads, and it did a good job. Ended up with about 13 miles of dual carriage way somewhere the other side is Swindon, apart from that it was pretty much all single carriage way country lanes. The occasional town got in the way. ...

Re: Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

Malpensa is an easier trip into MIlan. There is a direct train from the airport terminal.

Bergamo doesn't have a direct train link and the airport bus is the better way into Milan from Bergamo from my experience.

That said there is not a lot in it.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

... A 6 day split alternating between push/pull/legs. After being on physio for so long I probably should have eased my way into a more advanced program, but hey, I've only got 16 more weeks here so I might as well get stuck in. I've done a push session and a pull session ...

Fake Arai alert

... of Arai who said “We’ve reported to eBay and contacted the sellers but they are based in Asia and seemingly don’t give a monkey’s!” It’s obviously way too cheap… Arai are handmade in Japan and take days to make so the real price reflects that. The visor is wrap round – Arai have never done a wrap ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Trying to wake up, went out out for the first time in ages and it seems like my body has forgotten how to handle the side effects.

Probably didn't help that I cycled there and back, about 12 miles each way.

Re: Brno Motogp

It's interesting the way they've changed tactics to preserve the tyres. We've seen a lot more of it this season.

I love Dovi. He can be a massive dickhead but when he's on it he's right up there with the best.

Re: Brexit Round 2

There's always and argument. Complacency was part of it of it no doubt, but austerity and dissatisfaction played it's part in exactly the same way it did with the Trump vote.

Trump, BREXIT and the rise of the working class right wing are inextricably linked.
