Re: Brexit Round 2

I can't watch Question Time, it just makes me rage. :D

I'm not a fan of Abbott, never have been. She's a great constituency MP, but not Home Secretary material and frankly a PR disaster.

Having said that, the way she's been treated is absolutely appalling.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

... one, bad route planning though leaving the hill to the end (giggle) ;) We try and get the big hills done in the first 2 thirds of the route. That way you have the energy to run them, you then have the last third of the run to cool down and recover

Re: Brexit Round 2

As soon as the result was known we should have prepped for WTO and then invited the EU to negotiate a deal , that way we would have been in the position of strength for the negotiations and a fall back position should we not get favourable terms , no confusion or drama.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

... I'm now doing ( 90 run / 90 walk / 3mins run / 3mins walk ) x2. I haven't done the math but my actual distance covered is significantly less this way round than on the previous week. Also, my knees hurt so I need to find larger offroad areas near me in the evenings

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

I do get it by the way, I'm only kidding.

At least with the cold you can put some more clothes on, only so many clothes you can take off when you're too hot - and it's apparently frowned upon to enter public spaces in the nud.. Gutted

Re: Happy birthday Cav

... a great day.. we pulled up in a random layby in the Forest of Dean and started walking. We discovered a series of mountain bike trails along the way which Elsie (our pup) absolutely loved. She'd run down parts of them and jump in all the right places. When we discovered the mountain bikers she ...
