... officers get all defensive and tell you nothing. I once asked a police officer if they liked it when a suspect says "no comment" all the way through an interview. He blushed, his officer laughed. Things progressed after that.

Ride home from work was going fine until some decided if you indicate to change lanes you've got right of way even if there's a motorbike in your way. Twot wouldn't even look at me when I banged on his window.

Re: where to start with this one....

The other thing that stands out to me is his riding position, looks like he's well back on the seat, straight stiff arms, never going to have good control of a bike like that.

But way to fast for his ability and the situation.

... I'm sure we all ride too quickly at times he looked to be in a little village and I can only assume he didn't know the roads as he was a long long way from making that corner. Very little sympathy from me either. Better he hurt himself than anyone else.

is he OK? looks like the bump unsettled him and then panicked it seems to me.

Way too fast that's for sure though.

Re: Suzuki Develop New Quickshifter

... back in my 20's on the little bikes I was leading a race and dropped it. Got back up and took off but the gear shifter was bent and the only way to shift it was aggressively with my hand. I finished two more laps and came in second. Was my best result the whole season.

That's insane. I wonder why the automated deluge system didn't kick in ? THere is no way a fire fighting team are putting that out.

Dubai Hotel Fire

Shocking scenes on social media.

Looks like some shortcuts were taken when it was being built. there's no way a new hotel should go up like that,

I got caught in a wind/rain/hail storm on the way back. It was a good job I've got good kit otherwise I would have been soaked.

Re: Blood Bikes

Tried to PM you and for some reason didn't send - the ride out to there for me is pants... motorway... :( How about meeting half way between us somewhere like Bridgnorth? Or if you want the longer ride somewhere like Wistanstow?

Or is this ride out location something pre-planned with other people?

I can pick you up on the way if you like. I'm in South Birmingham.

This is near me and just off the motorway or I can meet you further along the route. http://www.beckettsfarm.co.uk/contact-us/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: No particular place to go

When ever really..

I've not ridden since Spain, so as long as I get out on the bike I'm a happy bunny.

What time is your appointment Mick? I could always pootle down your way and the we could blast up to stow for afternoon tea.

Would that work for you as well Rich?

No particular place to go

I've been given a pass for a bit of a bimble on Thursday and the weather this way isn't looking to bad at the moment.

Does anyone fancy saying goodbye to 2015 with a cup of tea and a bit of cake.. I could be persuaded with a fry-up at lucy's if people from that way fancy meeting up..
