Re: Chain mileage

What a nob re: ZX forum.

I'm with you Kwacky, when I ride I don't worry if the way I accelerate wears the chain or sprockets faster, that's just the cost of doing business. Correct tension and maintenance have far more effect in my opinion.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Shoulders this morning. Still girly weights as I ease my way back into things, but it feels great to get back into a routine. This will be my 2nd week of getting back on it, after this week I'm going to absolutely smash myself!

No need to wash it. Rain is on it's way. I'm sure that will be just as effective.

Re: Cat-D right offs

For the track it sounds a great way of picking up a good bike for less. Even for the road it's a good idea. You just have to have all the documentsbof what went on and knowledge of how to repair it, or learn how to repair and work on it as a project.

Re: 3 Skills to being FASTER

This is more about the individual parts that make you a faster rider. The fastest way around a track is different - you should be at full throttle for as much as possible in a lap, braking as little as possible and rarely using neither the brake or throttle. The ...

... true. Despite my arsing here, I do actually like Martin. It's difficult not to, isn't it? But these days, he's more of a celeb than a racer. In a way, one can't blame him for looking at other options for a career.

The way the throttle is able to do this is the simple (yet often overlooked) way it affects the bike’s weight distribution. In the middle of a corner where ...
