Re: The new improved fitness thread

My workmate out here is a keen RAF cyclist, and has been putting some serious miles in whilst he's been out here. Re: The new improved fitness thread

Back at it tomorrow though, the doctor gave me a talking to about my weight gain and sugar levels (type 2 diabetic)... It's going to hurt...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

A very poor leg session. I wasn't in the mood and I was tired.

My daughter came with me to use the pole to practice her pole dancing. Good to see her back up plan in place in case she **** up her exams.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

7 mile trail run tonight, really enjoyed it. Think the running bug is back.

Did also get my number for Abingdon marathon, that I said I wasn't going to run as I was too out of shape... But..... Hummm... I've got 20 days ?!?!?!

Re: The new improved fitness thread

3k race with the lad yesterday. 19 minutes, I'm chuffed with the time and the focus he had on the running. He was 6 minutes faster than last year, and enjoyed it a lot more. I then did the 10k which was a little less fun. Had a "slight" hangover from the stag do, and it's only my 3rd run s...

I’ve been there before, but it was winter in NZ and the NBC gear made for a nice warm sleeping bag.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I didn't make it to the gym. I got home at 6.25and my session with the PT was at 6.30. Thankfully I knew I was going to be late so my wife took my place.

I cheered myself with a kebab and chips

Re: What are you doing today ??

We accepted an offer on my Mothers property a week ago, but reading through this thread I think I’m in for a long and painful haul with a 3 part chain, but so far the Estate Agents have been very proactive, so I’m hoping for a pain free sale. (Fingers crossed)

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Ouch! Itchy is taking no prisoners.

Debating on whether to either....
A)....Go out MTB riding.
B)....Go out & clean my MTB "as if" it had been ridden.

I've just eaten breakfast, it's going to be 90F today, etc.
My motivation is waning.
