Re: Weekend plans

The British Ironworks Centre are inviting people to try out their "new dog-friendly trail" this weekend, so we'll be popping over there to have a look.

Re: A car thread

That Volvo looks like it'd be perfectly decent all things considered. Price seems more than fair....I've no idea about Volvo reliability though.

Re: A car thread

... of the dual mass flywheel. I have one and its fun to drive, 50+mpg on a run and surprisingly roomy inside. Not as much fun as my old E46 325i though, so a 320d might be worth a look too.

Re: What are you eating ??

Burger King is bottom of the barrel fast food.....good fries & onion rings though. KFC...haven't had it in years. Even when the wife would go pick it up for her & the kids, I'd pass & go grab something else. Not much into chicken, to be honest. Even ...

It's not like they can really switch the venue though, is it?

Possible house move

... do for a bike or two with tools and my kit. At least the insurance would be cheaper. Not cheaper than the massive increase in mortgage payments though (lol) It's in a mixed area. The row of houses this one is on is mostly 4 and 5 bedroom semi detached. Over the road is a small council estate ...

Re: Rossi to run his own MotoGP team?

... use Yamaha’s from the start of next year. I wonder if Rossi is going to race his own Yamaha satellite team next year? Its got a good chance. Shame though as Tech3 are a great team and Herve is briiliant - i wonder which way he will go in terms of manufacturer?

Re: New Speed Triple

The S is a good deal, not so sure the RS is. Not enough of a jump from the 765 for me to warrant the cost.. Nice bikes though. I like what the 765 stands for but surely the speed is going to be noticeably easier to ride quicker and for longer? They only quote peak figures but I imagine ...

Re: IAM

... I prefer using the gearbox, especially on the big twins as it saves a load of money on pads. I did get into the habit of using the rear brake though, not because it had any effect on slowing the bike, but it kept the observers happy.

Re: What do you want to praise today?

No manual, didn't get the choice as it's a company car. Would probably have gone to the manual anyway though, I don't do much city driving.
