Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

Good write up Rossgo, there are plenty of reasons for that vibration, can't imagine an oil change would fix it though - a throttle body balance would change it, valve clearances can give it, but wouldn't have changed in under 1000 miles, or it may may just be a price to pay for ...

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

I tend to agree, which is a bit annoying as I was seriously considering a blade (not a new one though). However it's opened my eyes up to the Gixxer.

After Frankies comments about the Beemer I seriously want to try the RR and R!

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

... that something that makes certain bikes so special Honda do seem to do vanilla very well. I think that's why people loved the fireblade so much though, you can brag you have a litre bike that's actually easier to ride than most other bikes out there....In fact I personally know a couple of people ...

Re: well there goes the colour debate...

I still have mine still love it but by todays standards she is a big heavy underpowered lump , my sons R1M feels lighter ( it isn't but not by much ) is certainly a lot smaller and has twice the power and more electronics than NASA circa 1968

it's not as pretty though

Yesterday I was browsing the world wide webs for mopeds (thats a different story ...
