Re: What are you doing today ??

Prefer the 848 to be honest.

Not discounted an air cooled Monster though.

I want to keep the Muti. Riding it back today it's an awesome motorcycle. Does most things brilliantly.

Re: What are you doing today ??

I have it in my head that the 848 version came under new servicing intervals which the 1098 didn't. I may be wrong though. Michael Neeves at MCN had an 848 as a long termer a few years back (the vids are on YouTube) and he reckoned it was the better bike too. He had both as long ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

My paternal nan passed away soon after my grandfather went, even though there was nothing wrong with her apart from being old. She really did miss him. I really do think people can reach an age where you can decide to call it a day.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I haven't been to the gym for months and have put on a stone. I stopped going because I kept getting throat infections, possibly from the air-con in the place.

Back at it tomorrow though, the doctor gave me a talking to about my weight gain and sugar levels (type 2 diabetic)... It's going to hurt...
