Re: The new improved fitness thread
... yately series was just a "turn up after work and run" kind of thing. I've been lucky injury wise. One of the coaches did at this to me though, and it's oh so very true. "Runners only have 3 conditions, running personal bests, injured, or recovering"

Budget tax increases
... the way these rules have been abused by people in the public sector selling their services back to the government. Its a very hefty tax increase though on those who genuinely run their own small business. Also i suspect some of this is to pave the way to do away with separate tax and NIC rates ...

2008 or later. It's a pity though, that they have such a limited colour range. Why on earth did they stop doing their bikes in blue?Blade wrote:Zx10r great bike which generation / year you looking at ?

Tw-t of the day
... I see the car driver check his mirrors. He and I indicate to the right at the same time. Nothing wrong with that. What is happening behind me though is something else. Me and the car driver have seen the cyclist in good time. However, the tw-t on the old red Honda thinks he's going to hammer ...

Yesterday I had 4 LEARNER riders who thought they were bad arse riders in a 30mph zone. I clocked them way down the road and realised very quickly that they were maxing their little machines ...

... you notified your GAP Insurers? If not I would do that ASAP. My GAP insurers didn't pay out. They said I had to take the replacement bike, even though I didn't know if I could ever ride a bike again.

I think the Germans need some basic art lessons on using colours that compliment each other. I thought black went with everything? :D I see what you mean though Duke, it does look just a bit off. But I'm glad they got rid of the 'gills' on the side fairings, never took ...

Completely agree about Interstellar - I watched it with the family and thought it was great, Mrs Gee kept asking what was happening at the end though - our 12yr old told her she should been paying better attention........ The folly of youth.

Re: Which Colour
Yeah I thought that too Itchy.
Needs little more white though imo. I have some St Georges flag knee sliders which are obviously mainly white so they might help add a little more white in the lower leg.
What do you think ? Cool or bling too far ?

Well, yeah, I see what you're saying. But you also have the Dainese logo in white on the suit, i don't personally think it'd be that out of place.
I am looking at it on my phone though, may be totes different in the flesh.

Venice is very pretty but my abiding memories are it stinks and there are too many tourists there.
I think you need to go at the right time of year to avoid both, dunno when that is though.

Re: Venice
Venice is an amazing spot. In autumn it should be relatively quiet too. I couldn't help think the canals stunk of poo though.
Mind you. That's because they are full of poo. Pass on the gondola rides .
