Re: Nutz's VFR 800

This has still got the standard snorters on, so does sound a bit like a hairdryer. It's got a lovely induction roar when the vtec kicks in though.

Re: Cav's Workshop

... don't you! (wasntme) Looking at that, is that a metal ceiling rose?! Doesn't look strong enough to me haha.. I'd be petrified !! I do like that though and it wouldn't be difficult for me to put mine on the ceiling, the only difficulty might be headroom as my hair touches my ceiling lights

Re: Cav's Workshop

My main thought of storing it in the workshop is purely to keep it out of the Fiancé's way inside the house... My main concern was the cold causing the leather to crack or something!? Didn't know if that was a thing. As for getting ...

Re: World Politics Stuff (not brexit)

Labour has zero chance of winning the next Election. I suspect sometimes it’s much easier to just be an opposition party though the way they are going Labour soon will not even be the main opposition. I honestly now think that those currently leading the Tory party (and that isn’t ...

Re: Battery Recommendations

Good point on the optimate - though at the minute power to the workshop is only from an extension lead which I bring in when I'm not out there. The Yuasa on mine hasn't been charged once in my ownership (6-7 years I think) and it's gone ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Never use Google for medical advice, far too many unqualified people with keyboards. I would expect your recovery to be very unique to you.

I'm glad to hear it's progressing in the right direction though..

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

That's really crap though mate.. I'm surprised they didn't shift on the garage thing. Would they not allow you to use a smaller number of NCB on your 2nd bike seeing as you're already with them? I'd consider the 6 wheel policy though.. ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... companies, what a rip off. So, I've currently got the KTM on a policy that runs out in April and I'm now looking to insure the vfr. First thought, it's an older bike that's not worth a lot so just do it outright. When I did the initial quote it came out at about £180, not bad I can for ...

A lot of ebay sellers are doing that. They list it on ebay for a bit more then order via Amazon and send it direct to you. They save on postage and packaging as well.
