Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... at a new Tuono with rider and pillion. Those bikes don't look big enough for the rider, let alone a passenger. Fair play to them for biking it though. It was fecking freezing this morning.

Re: Work/life balance

... everything you do for them.... even if they don't know they do. You do have to do what you feel is right.. for you. Obviously consider all factors though, as I said before it's about the whole package on balance. Also, listen to your gut. If something doesn't feel right it probably isn't

... few grand and I got a very healthy bonus. I'm still studying at university (paid for by my employer) and my final year project is work-based. Even though all of this means that I cannot leave the company at the moment (I would have no money and no qualification) it actually makes work more worthwhile. ...

Re: What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

... any angst against cyclists in the media. Move to Aussie and due to similarly arrogant attitudes of cyclists here I was instantly the enemy even though all my riding was solo and went out of my way to not be obstructionary. I had beer cans thrown at me, car doors opened on me while the car was ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... Byron was up and down with bikes. Loved his balance bike when he was young but flipped at a big bike and had to go onto training wheels even though he had the balance skills already. Brided him with a video game at about 6 yrs old and finally got him off training wheels and bought him a bigger ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... one of the friends there had a bike and apparently James just picked it up got on it and cycled off... FFS.. Needless to say, I'm chuffed to bits though. I'm looking forward to building his confidence and having some father son bike rides.

Re: Guy Martin in trouble

Reading the article it looks as though he's been a bit of a sneaky-Pete in trying to get a licence & maybe avoid taking a test...? I wouldn't have thought that, in his late 30's & having worked with & around motor vehicles all ...

Re: Triumph 1200 Scrambler

I liked the original Scrambler and I liked the 1200 Explorer/Tiger, not sure I like that though. :^

I’ve seen that tank before somewhere, an off-roader from the 60’s or 70’s iirc, but not surprising given the look that the stylists wanted I guess.

Packing the kids up to go back to their mums. We are sticking to my normal work roster for custody even though I’m not going to work. Really struggling to send them off knowing I’m home the whole time anyways. I’ve negotiated an extra weekend with them during her time and they ...

Re: Someone please let me know...

... traffic order applies to the whole length of the carriageway between junctions 10 and 8/9. This means that for 8 miles a 50 limit is in force even though they are moving quite slowly from 10 towards 8/9. To apply seperate traffic orders in blocks would be both impractical and costly and so it is ...

Re: What you watching?

Das Boot - the film version. Not as good as the TV series as they miss a lot out to squeeze it into 2 hours. Still worth watching though.

I also started to watch They Shall Not Grow Old, but my wife found it too upsetting so I'll watch it when I'm alone.
