Re: Picking my bike up today.

Oh I see I,ve always done the first service after 600 miles. I piled some more miles on today. I,ve got it to 536 miles now.

I,ll be phoning the dealership tomorrow to book it in for its first service. I,ve gotta take it to a dealer 40 miles away from home so that,ll be almost there anyway.

Re: Cycle storage

If you don't want to hang them from the walls or ceiling and you don't want to take up much floor space and if they have to go in the garage then it looks like your only option is the stand.

Re: Cycle storage

... push bikes in the garage but it's more practical for the wife and kids so if they have to come in the man cave they need to look organised and take up minimal space to ease the pain of having to put them in my space.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... is that my bosses have always been flexible with me. If I've needed to come in late or leave early then there's no problem. If it's a give and take situation then I'm all good , that rarely happens in very large firms /corporations in my experience but in small - medium sized enterprises is ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

I agree with you. I've changed jobs in the past because I was expected to do 11 hour days then take stuff home. That's taking the piss. But she never ever works beyond her hours, ever. Last week I stayed over for 1.5 hours just to clear up a backlog. Since then I've been ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Bog all really, had a trip to hospital earlier for the Diabetic eye camera, they put drops in which sting a lot to make the pupils go as wide as possible then take some pictures of the inside of my eyes, with a flash.

They take 6 hours to wear off so no driving, nice quiet day for me.

Weekend plans

Anyone up to anything? My wife has been wiped out by the 'flu so I suspect I'll be playing nursemaid. I'm at the gym tonight. Tomorrow I've got to take the Versys in to have a decal put on. I might see if they've got anything for me to play on while I'm waiting. Then the usual ferry the kids about ...
