Re: What do you want to vent about today?

... issues. It seems if you have worked once, then you are capable of doing so forever with no help. However sit on your arse all your life, make sure you have a stick and the Govt will throw money at you. I have a friend whose g/f has worked in the DWP much of her life. She has refused to transfer ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Thanks both (y) It's abysmal.. it teaches people to have no aspirations. It's all or nothing. I'm sure we'll sort it out but it will likely mean a couple of hard years now and no chance of bike time for another couple of years. I thought we were just about scraping through ...

Re: Police numbers

I'm sure there'll be a private patrol I can subscribe to in the next couple of years.

I wonder how long it'll be before the fire services go back to being owned by insurance companies?

Dropped helmet.

... the table and left it there, Travis just pushed it off the table and it fell probably 2.5ft onto carpeted floor. Opinions please, I'm really not sure I can afford a new one atm. Feeling like a duck for leaving it out with a 2 year old around.

Re: Rossgo's Trip Away!

The manor farm cafe at Leyburn is a good place to call in for a break. Not sure which way you will be heading to it but from there i usually head for Ripon and the A1 home.

She probably had never ridden one despite saying otherwise and wanted to make sure she came across as knowing what she's talking about in a very male dominated environment. As for the starter bike talk.. they are in a few lists ...

Re: New ZX6R

It's good to see a another super sport 600.
Will be interesting to see if it's had its balls chopped off like the Yamaha R6 did to get it through Euro 4. I would think that Kawasaki must of taken this long to release it to be sure it would get through Euro 5 too.

Re: What are you doing today ??

... be a nightmare...plus the house we hope to be moving to is at the end of a very narrow single track which won't take a full removal lorry... not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to move back home especially as I'd forgotten how expensive rural Oxfordshire is after being away for 3 years ...

New ZX6R

New 636cc zx6r just announced, not sure on the looks yet personally (can see a little of the old C1H zx6 in the lights but looks like the 400 to me), but good to see another supersport bike enter the racing fray (once they homologate a 600cc ...

Re: What you watching?

Watched a Falcon-9 rocket launch last night....standing outside the house.
Now watching the TV coverage.....pretty effing spectacular. Best one I've seen yet by a mile.

I'm sure it's on YouTube somewhere, if anyone's into spacey stuff.

Re: I know it's wrong

... all but disappears when Byron has a meltdown. His anxiety gets so overwhelming any thing that feeds that just escalates the situation. I’m not sure what the answer is to preventing these deaths of mentally disabled persons, but increased awareness and training for the police has to be a start.
