Re: Swapping a petrol tank
It's not hard Kwacky, all I'd say based my experience is (1) know if you're changing the fuel tank ahead of time (sounds like it) check with a Tech or owner of the same bike if you need a fuel pump seal or if it'll go again, (2) take lots ...

Re: Ridelimousin Road & Off Road Holidays in France
It was me and Cookiemonster who did the off road day.

Re: Pr!ck
If I had my way the bloke would be assessed as owing the full amount of the cost of repairs. Then I would say that the criminal's time is worth £20 an hour to the victim. The criminal has to work those hours to pay off the debt he owes to the victim. So if it's £3,000 to repair ...

... that no one has said is wrong. I like how people get killed and people still go to it knowing the dangers. Then look at us Brits...we can't even say bar bar black sheep any more! But killed is fine in other countries!

I'm starting to change my mind on that. I thought it was just a function of getting to do all that cool stuff, but another book so soon? That's putting it out there purely for consumption.Kwacky wrote:He's got a lot to say for a bloke who isn't into publicity and wants to be a truck mechanic

No not yet... will have to wait for the knee doc to say. I guess will want a scan or X ray, but as I can walk (sort of) it can't be that bad, the naproxen have brought the sweling down nicely too.

Bloke does talk a lot of sense. ..... & a lot of nonsense too. Fwiw this "sense" you hear.: When politicians say something that sounds right, then that usually means they have you where they want you. JC may have some crackpot views, but I guess that at least he's upfront ...

Fwiw an old electrician I used to know always used to say "Electricity is safe. It's not the electric shock that will kill you, it's the falling off the ladder when you get a shock"
He's since died.

Re: Labour tearing itself apart?
Electing Corbyn will tear the Labour Party to pieces i suspect.
If he is Leader i think its fair to say he would not represent many of the views of the majority of his MPs.

Well it won't come as a surprise to anyone that I'm voting for Corbyn in the leader election. Can't say I've been this exited about British politics since 97, just hope I won't be as disappointed as 98!
