... but with no indication of any work on the clutch, so I'll change the lot seeing as though it could be on the original. If that's the case then I'd say it's due a refresh after 70400 miles! Maybe I'll wait till winter has set in and get the wheels off to get them shot blasted and powder coated again ...

All joking aside if I was in the market for a new bike the R1 would be on the top of the list.
Had a good look round one at Silverstone and a long chat with their technical guy and got to say I was very impressed. They level of tech was mind blowing and the blue and silver one looks stunning imo.

I don't agree with banning airshows but it's not correct to say this is a one off.
Only last month at Oulton Park car fest a plane crashed in a display and I'm sure there have been quite a few others. I remember many moons ago a harrier crashed at lowestoft airshow.
