My favourite riding time is summer evenings.

As you say, no plod and little traffic to spoil the ride.

I reckon we should do a mid summer evening ride out to wales next year. Stop the night in a decent hostelry and ride back the next evening.

When you go to the bike shop to pick the bike up, collect a handful of accessories for it and say "these should make up for my son being upset on his birthday". See what response you get. I reckon you'll get a couple of freebies. Or the police will be called ...

... for the noise on that years MOTO GP game, I got a free dyno out of it, but he never sent me a copy of the game he promised :( he did email me to say my bike was the sound of the Suzuki bikes. either 2010 or 2011 I think.

It's not a full on handguard but I suspect it reduces the chance of hand injury.

I'm keeping mine anyway, regardless of what you all say :P

... guy. Genuinely went of of his way when he was busy to speak with my kids. I didn't ask him too he just told us to come over. Also never heard him say a bad word against anyone or about anything he is a very genuine nice guy who as a bonus is mega quick on a motorcycle.

Had a good look round a H2 today and have to say I was very impressed. ... he isn't at that level yet. He has a year to go and knows he has to work very very hard for the next 8-9 months if that is what he wants. I would say though that the opportunities at Uni and beyond are quite simply out if this world these days. I wish i had had those opportunities at 18.

They have a couple of battle scars but not too bad. I've heard alpinstars aren't as good as they used to be and wouldn't want anything to fail when it's needed. I'm going to run them up to Joyda at some point and see what they say.
