Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

Great review rossgo I especially like the summary at the end. I feel the same at the moment about the gsxr it makes me feel so naughty in a good way. yes it's not the prettiest or the fastest but when you get off it I can not help but giggle.

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

Its funny, Ive only ridden the older blade but sounds the same, just missing that something that makes certain bikes so special Honda do seem to do vanilla very well. I think that's why people loved the fireblade so much though, you can brag you have ...

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

Really good write up,. It sounds like you've got the same impressions as other people who have ridden it - it's not that special to ride.

Are you still taking a ZX10R out for a ride?

2017 Honda Fireblade SP

... donkey decides it's the right time to pull out at a T Junction right in front of me....i was so glad the Honda have brilliant Brembos! Must be the same as the Gixxer but they seem a bit more sharper, infact I felt like my soul had jumped out of my chest when using them, scared the f&cking sh!t ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

I had to do a complaints learning module yesterday and our firm takes the same approach.

Basically, their approach is everything is a complaint and you report everything even if you're not sure it's a complaint.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Work paid for 2 of them, found an ebay ad for all of them for £2.99 in PDF, Ill be having that, even if 2 outta 3 are the same as the ones I already have at least its 1 extra at a saving of £22 quid! I dunno how they justify these prices for the mock papers, the exam itself ...

Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

Well...the ends on that are black, and AFAIK nearly every bike out there comes with bare metal ends.

Only reason I mentioned it, and when I switched to placcy ends for racing I noticed the same thing.....you end up with w@nkhand after about 15 minutes.

On second thoughts......

Re: Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

Good read Rossgo, not boring at all. And easier to read than some of your posts so you must have reviewed it a few times (lol)

I was the same as you, thought I'd be intimidated by a thou, but once you get on them it's a doodle! And as you say, not as much hard work!

Test Ride - 2017 GSXR 1000

... end can on it without baffle, personally didnt like it, it was too loud for my liking maybe a baffle would help it out a bit. Guessing this is the same as all 1000s but first is good for the 30s and 40s yet it's refined enough to cruise along at 30 or 40 in pretty much any gear...but it didn't ...

Re: Kwacky's Triumph 765RS Review

... the R and the RS. But I went from the Versys to the RS and from a CBR600rr to the R, so I reckon it's all in the head. The seat height is the same. The R does feel gentler. As the bike hadn't had its first service I didn't crack the throttle open, but I didn't feel the need to as the power ...

Re: 2017 Versys 650 Grand Tourer - ongoing review

... with the SX Kwacky? I imagine it's lighter and nimbler Chalk and cheese. The SX was lower and sportier. I reckon the Versys weighs about the same and its about 55 bhp down on the SX. As it's taller it's a different riding style. The brakes aren't as strong as the SX brakes and with limited ...

(lol) Nah...I've always liked that stuff...some of it can be boring, but it can never be offensive. The last bassist I worked with was the same way....she plays in the Iron Maidens, and also plays double-bass for the LA Symphony Orchestra. Plus she's hot, so none of that other stuff really ...
