Re: The new improved fitness thread

There's a video on Youtube of a guy using the same leg press I was on. It had 700kg on it.

If I can do 320kg by the end of January I'll be happy with that.

I need to see what I can squat when I've got a spotter with me.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

... go as I was tired but once in the gym my mindset changed and I hit a few PBs. I rarely bother with bench press and when I do it I tend to do the same weights, never more than 50kg. Did 6 reps of 65kg before needing a spot. Leg press is usually around 240kg and I hit 295kg. My PT told me to do ...

Re: time for a career change Deegee

... that’s almost reached peak penetration in its market. Sad but true. ;( I tend to agree with you on the saturation of the gin market, it feels the same in Australia. Luckily with the wide range of native botanicals available, there is a good range and most have there own taste, which probably allows ...

Re: What you watching?

... Ruining my film enjoyment. I also started watching Alien convenant, but we landed before I barely got half way through, but seemed exactly the same as Promethous so far. And a bit shit. Might have watched another film, but I've forgot now.

Re: schumacher latest

... the others don't count. First time I ever cried at the news of a stranger's death. It hit me and I struggled to understand why. Coincidentally the same thing happened to me when Graham Hill died, he was part of my childhood and the battles with Stewart et al loomed large for me.

Re: What are you doing today ??

... less polluting than petrol and the cars where more economical to run. Well that's all changed now, and I think electric cars will be the same when we have a mountain of dead batteries to get rid of. Battery scrappage tax anyone? We need a total revolution not evolution.

Re: Green laning

Fwiw I love my little old MTX200 for playing about. Road legal ( & road useable, not always the same thing) light enough to pick up when you crash, which you will. I also love taking the MTX out when the lanes round here are snow covered. Pretty much only me & Tractors ...
