Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Tbh Mick fuelling has come on a lot in recent years but older twins struggle a bit on part throttle as the systems are not as complex or ride by wire.

My SP2 is exactly the same and it has a custom map installed.

Bloody cars, ruining our fun.

Rossi was caught out at Redgate by the same little dip that did me in when I crashed on the Sprint RS. Which makes me level

You can call me GOAT :D

Re: British MotoGP (spoilers)

Lorenzo needs to drop HJC. Twice his helmet steaming up has cost him dearly and at this level it's not acceptable.

Tbh I can't even see it being good for HJC as it's bad marketing. I will never buy a HJC ever after watching that and I m sure others will feel the same.

Re: Opinions please on all bikers most favourite topic

You know this will start a war :D I've always had the same make but have mixed tyres. Personally so long as they're similar I think it's fine. I know lots of bikers who mix without problems. What you need to ensure is that things like warm up and cool ...

Oh on the same note, I tried that Rhino Goo a couple weeks back, found it very good. Not as good as SDoc but rhino goo is the cheaper alternate and did a good job of shifting the bugs and grime.

Re: Shoreham Airshow Disaster

I can remember a Hawker Hurricane doing exactly the same thing at Duxford when I was about 10.

There was a long pause from the announcer and then in a slow voice said "and if you look to your East you'll see Concord making it's first approach."

Carried on as if nothing had happened.

Yep. I imagine it's about the same for plastic lenses. The reaction times increase until they stop working.

Test rode the latest DVT Multistrada today.

Bike was a 1200S with the semi active suspension. I didnt take it out for too long but did use the same raods i rode my Multi in on. Thoughts are: The engine is a corker. Smoother than mine but with an induction roar similar to the Panigales. Pulls like a train, though doesn't ...

Re: 200 Section Rear

I've never tried this but I don't think it will be any wider as the wheel is the same width, so the tyre bead will be in the same place as the 190. If anything I would imagine it would just make the tyre taller.

Yes it is, but note I said "not necessarily much more BHP" a few cc won't make much difference to the BHP but another 1000 rpms will.
