Re: What ails you today?

My @$$.

It's been too long since I've been doing much cycling & I'm paying for it. Niceties like full suspension are no longer a luxury, they're a necessity......and that's just on the road. Heaven only knows what it'll be like when I go back into the dirt.

Re: Welsh Wales Weekender 31st Aug - 2nd Sept

No worries, there's loads of time to sort out venues. I know a couple of pubs have secure off road parking, which we'll need.

Re: Welsh Wales Weekender 31st Aug - 2nd Sept

No, it's a couple of hours away I think. You could then drop down the coast to Barmouth, down to Aberdfyi (sp) then across country towards the reservoirs. The B4405 is out that way and that's a fantastic road. Then the 458 back to Welshpool.

Re: Pirelli Rosso Corsa 2

... I had. My M7RRs were squared off on the rear and the front was a horrible shape so it's difficult to compare. But I'd say so these are the best road tyres I've had. Early days, not really pushed them that much yet and not tried them in the wet, but very impressed so far.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Today I did a 400 mile run up to Kielder Castle and back, the road from shap to kendal is nice and quick with the MT-10 having no trouble keeping with a Blackbird and Hyabusa since they didn't go too far into triple digits, great fun and impressive levels ...

The place we wanted to go to was shut, so we went to a place down the road. I had homemade faggots, chips and mushy peas
