Re: Stonesie's MT-10 thread

Parkitt have had problem's with the rolling road but in the middle of last week they got it working, tested and gave me the green light to get it in for the work as I wait, I may video some of it if the exhaust makes some impressive fire. More ...

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade SP

... select second gear, during your test ride. We are all aware bikes perform better at higher revs, but thats trackdaying or pushing the bike on the road. The throttle response can be selected by different modes, like all 1litre bikes. My view point can be reflective, to which mode you selected, ...

Agreed - very well integrated. I really do think they are novelty on the road mind.

Re: 30 years ago tomorrow

... it got to Newport Pagnell. One of the crews said, "No problem, bring it here and we will use it, and the first time it goes out on the road, it will be put straight into a bridge on the Motorway!" Surprisingly, we never saw that car again :)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... riding in the rain provided I'm kitted right up, only thing I don't like is the m25 in the wet between junctions 1 and 3, said it before but the road surface is awful and just holds standing water making it very dodgy, other than that I enjoy the challenge of it, being smooth. Although much less ...

Re: Kwacky's Triumph 765RS Review

So I had a play with Cookie's 765 R The roads were damp, it was being run in and the owner was in front of me. The RS was a demo model that had done a couple of track days so I had no qualms with spanking the RS, whereas the R was treated with ...

I've lost count of the number of times I've been screwed over by an accident on the A140, I feel your pain Frankie, sometimes with that road it's better to just turn round and go back and find a way round that's not being used by the vast unwashed..... I do no use it very often due to his ...

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

Long ride to Cognac and back yesterday. Sadly a lot of it was damp or wet roads, but it is interesting to ride a new bike and tyre combo in the wet. The weather in France has been relatively poor this summer and yesterday was 18 - 20 degrees and damp or sopping ...

It's what I've used for years on off road bikes and I like it that I can choose the strength .... too strong and it does effect anodised parts though .. hey-ho , silver bling is better than no bling I suppose ? :D

Kwacky's Triumph 765RS Review

... impressions are that the 765 feels slightly smaller than the 675, not cramped but I feel closer to the bars and my feet seem to be higher up. The roads were dry so the bike was in road mode. The suspension is firm, perhaps a touch too much for the roads. The brakes are strong with decent feeling. ...

Re: continental sport attack 3

Sounds promising.

I do think that the Corsas have a narrow prime window to operate in. They sing when the road is warm and dry but they've spun up on me a few times when conditions aren't perfect.
