Re: What are you doing today ??

... a fast down hill. Both kids made it to the end, just. James moaned about every peddle turn. We had a play on the park after and then went for a road cycle when we got back home and it went much better. On the happier side of the trails, while the kids where in the play park and the wife was ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... What can I say other than I was impressed, very impressed. The thing handles well in the two Dynamic modes and is soft and comfortable in Road with a softer throttle... I didn't try Rain mode. The engine pulls hard from 3Krpm up with very little vibration and a nice surge above 5K when ...

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

No, 3 bikes isn't necessary. I'm in a fortunate position of being able to own 3 bikes though. But take this week for example. The Versys is off the road so I can use the AT for commuting. The MV is in no way able to deal with the job of carting me and my work through traffic in a range of conditions. ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

It's something I come back to every so often - too many cars and too many shit drivers on the roads. It's almost impossible to take a journey now without it being interrupted by at least one incident. Was watching the local news earlier and there was a major cycling event ...

I wouldn't want anything that kept my hands on the bars... How would I show my appreciation for the standard of driving of other road users (giggle)

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Sunday I took a ride out to the infinity, clearance warehouse, invested in a new middle of the road, summer, not too cold jacket, big enough to wear some thicker gear underneath if needed. I only have the teabag jacket I bought in Italy, and the full winter jacket, the ...

Re: If I was going to have a third bike...

I might turn the 853 into track only. We will see. Depends on finances really.

I am starting to struggle a bit with sports bikes on the road. My muscles are not as supple as they used to be. Fitness only keeps ageing at bay to a point.
