Re: What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

... that in doing so I do not inconvenience others. As a driver I treat bicyclists with the same level of courtesy & consideration that I do other road users. However it seems that is not enough for some cyclists. IMHO there seems to be a growing percentage that do not feel they should be treated ...

Re: What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

A group of cyclists = an affliction of cyclists. Especially the ones who refuse to use cycle lanes where they are provided, prefering to pull into the road without looking and shout at drivers for being there.

Re: What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

... obstruct with no care for anyone around.... Maybe I am just getting my pants in a bunch for no reason, but it really gets on my nerves the lack of road awareness & safety and arrogance that seems to be the norm every bloody weekend! No doubt I will get shot down by someone.... but as I say ...

Re: Normal day in the office -

... I'd lay strong odds it was teenagers in a stolen car.: Driving the car (fast) is the easy part, but their Ps2 training gives them no concept of road rules, they simply go where they want to go & other road users are simply obstacles to be passed (a little like " someone " rides ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Ha! Once again the motorways were crap so I had to ride the back roads in the dark. This time I didn't know the roads and I was hanging on to the back of cars to make sure I didn't fall off the road :D

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

I took the long way home last night. It's my first ride in the dark for a while. Having limited visibility on a country road covered with crap and grit was alright to b fair. I was racing an MT-09 for a bit, but he lost me overtaking on double whites. I don't do that. I did manage ...

And the dual laser cameras on a cantilever usually positioned off the side of a gantry? The ones that don't use the lines on the road. So is it fair to say that the smart motorways aren't average speed? Some are, some aren't. It will vary from area to area Depends on what Motorway, which ...

Re: Someone please let me know...

... My thought is that they are static cameras? A static camera is usually along the lines of a Gatso and are defined by the callibration marks on the road. Static cameras on the Motorway are also defined by callibration lines in each lane In these cases they will record your speed at a precise moment ...
